TRYP by Wyndham is now seeking a Cluster Training Executive - Wyndham Marina Hotel to join our team at TRYP by Wyndham Dubai in DubaiDubai.

Job Summary

The Cluster Training Executive  is responsible for assisting the Training Director/Manager. They are required
to run/support the training department of the hotel.

Education & Experience
  • At least 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field; or a 4-year college degree and 1 year of related experience; or a 2-year college degree and 2 or more years of related experience.
  • Must be proficient in Windows, Company approved spreadsheets and word processing.
  • Must have experience with and knowledge of other hotel-specific programs and systems (PMS, POS, etc.).
Personal Development
  • Maintain professional association memberships, attend industry conferences, and network
    within the industry to develop training management skills.
    Participate in some form of on job development, eg. Stretch assignment, cross exposure, task
    force, project.
    Participate in formal training interventions at least once a year
General Requirements
  • Managing and conducting orientation program for new Associates introducing the business and
    culture.
    Conduct training, using the Wyndham Facilitator’s Guides or other materials as necessary.
    Support Training Manager / Director to implement training programs to address the hotel’s
    training needs.
    Conduct Train the Trainer.
Fundamental Requirements
  • Design and conduct an annual training needs assessment to determine the hotel’s priorities.
    Schedule regional workshops and other training to ensure all associates receive required
    training.
    Support Training Manager / Director to control training expenses and manage expenditures to
    meet the hotel’s needs while remaining within budget guidelines.
    Be familiar with Guest Service reports, Associate Engagement Survey (AES) results and action
    plans, and mystery shopper or quality audit reports. Use these results to determine training
    needs.
    Utilise outside vendors and industry resources to meet the property’s training needs, within
    budget guidelines.
    Coordinate and support hotel trainings and scheduling training.
    Design and prepare training aids and materials.
