Our Company’s core values also highlight our commitment to support ethical business practices and good corporate citizenship, including to help combat all forms of human trafficking. Wyndham aims to operate our business in a manner consistent with the principles contained in the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The Company also continues to partner with human rights organizations to educate team members and stakeholders across relevant areas of the business. As part of this commitment, Wyndham has mandated training for all team members and independently owned and operated franchisees, to help identify and report potential trafficking.

As a hospitality company, serving the community is in our DNA. Wyndham’s team members and franchisees around the world actively engage in their communities, generously giving in ways that enhance the lives of others. Wyndham’s signature Wish Day program affords corporate team members one paid workday per year to volunteer for charitable causes most personal to them. Whether building bicycles for kids, harvesting produce to feed those facing food insecurity, sprucing up a local park, or packing Thanksgiving meals for those who might otherwise go without, Wyndham team members routinely demonstrate the spirit of our Count On Me® service promise. In addition to giving of their time, team members can further support charities of their choosing through our Wyndham Rewards program. Wyndham Rewards members can make donations of their points to any of our Signature Charities—including BEST, Clean the World Foundation, and Fisher House Foundation, to name a few.

Caring for Our Team Members

The spirit of Count On Me starts from within. We believe it is just as important to support our team members as it is the community at large. To that end, we proudly offer team members the opportunity to apply for a grant through the Wyndham Relief Fund when facing financial hardships based on an unforeseen personal situation or disaster. The Fund was developed as a direct response to requests from team members to help their fellow colleagues in times of critical need, and is administered by the Emergency Assistance Foundation, a third-party nonprofit organization.
