The Role
This role will be part of Global Shared Services based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The GSS Billing Reporting & Compliance Analyst will:
- Support billing pricing, AR reporting, corporate compliance, and SOX control execution.
- Ensure that customer billing, data validations, supplier billing, and AR reviews adhere to policy, audit standards, and financial requirements.
- Own key compliance routines including SOX control documentation, support for external audit requests, and annual SOC report data preparation.
- Be responsible for AR reporting dashboards, data consolidation, DAN reviews, and corporate supplier billing accuracy.
What you'll do
- Support SOX compliance, internal controls, and reporting, including request management, evidence collection, documentation updates, and audit‑ready record maintenance.
- Execute and maintain corporate supplier billing activities, ensuring accurate invoice processing, approvals, postings, and compliance with billing policies and SLAs.
- Manage external audit requests, gathering documentation, validating evidence adequacy, and tracking open items through closure.
- Perform new application and “DAN” AR reviews, assessing control impacts, reviewing data flows and approval processes, validating required testing, and documenting outcomes.
- Maintain organized, audit‑ready documentation for controls and reporting under their revision in alignment with record‑retention and control requirements.
- Partner with other corresponding teams to resolve issues, clarify documentation, and strengthen compliance execution across processes.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on documentation standardization, evidence templates, workflow efficiency, and control monitoring.
- Support reporting activities and compliance dashboards by consolidating request volumes, turnaround times, and audit/control performance metrics.
You'll be successful if you have
- Strong understanding of billing processes, AR reporting, compliance routines, and internal controls.
- Understanding of ONYX commission workflows and hotel distribution/booking data flows (preferred).
- Familiarity with SOX audit principles, evidence requirements, and control documentation practices.
- Experience working with ERP systems (Oracle AR preferred), workflow/case tools, and reporting dashboards.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with Billing, Cash App, AR, Collections, and Audit teams.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage transaction volumes while meeting deadlines and SLAs.
- Understanding of hospitality billing structures and franchise related processes (preferred).
- Strong organizational skills to manage compliance documentation, audit requests, and reporting cycles.
- Fluency in English and Spanish, with the capacity to support cross‑regional operations.
Required Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or active student) in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- 1-3+ years of experience in AR, billing, reporting, compliance, or finance operations.
- Experience in a Share Services Center environment is preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle AR preferred) and data/reporting tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
- Experience supporting audits or SOX processes strongly preferred.
