The Role

This role will be part of Global Shared Services based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

 

The Billing Manager will:

  • Lead, coordinate and oversee all customer billing, contract setup, manual billing, and pricing governance activities. 
  • Ensure accurate and timely franchise fee invoicing, proper rate and contract configuration, and strong alignment between billing data and revenue recognition rules. 
  • Supervise the team responsible for contract administration, rate maintenance, and billing inquiry resolution, ensuring compliance with internal controls, documentation standards, and SOX requirements. 
  • Monitor data quality, perform issue resolution governance, and collaborate closely with AR, Cash Application, Collections, and IT teams to ensure end to end O2C accuracy.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of all Billing transactions, in accordance with the performance and quality standards defined in the Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

What you'll do

  • Lead and oversee the creation, approval, and maintenance of customer contracts in Oracle, ensuring accuracy of terms, pricing, rate structures, and legal attributes for correct billing and revenue recognition.
  • Supervise the review and validation of franchise revenue reports and the daily processing of billing loads, corrections, and royalty rate maintenance.
  • Oversee manual billing processes by identifying eligible cases, validating requirements, calculating billing amounts, securing approvals, and ensuring accurate posting in Oracle AR.
  • Direct the preparation and posting of system‑generated and manual accruals, billing adjustments, and general ledger transactions to support accurate monthly financial results.
  • Lead the intake, logging, assessment, and routing of billing inquiries to ensure timely investigation, categorization, and resolution aligned with SLAs and internal controls.
  • Ensure strong documentation practices, including maintaining audit‑ready records, approvals, customer setup files, and billing correction evidence in alignment with compliance and retention standards.
  • Monitor billing controls, identify data issues, oversee change requests, and conduct periodic data integrity reviews across customer and billing datasets.
  • Partner with O2C teams (AR, Cash Application, Collections), IT, Revenue Accounting, and Business Operations to resolve cross‑functional issues and improve billing accuracy.
  • Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and system optimization initiatives across billing processes, templates, data validations, and workflows.

You'll be successful if you have

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end O2C processes, including billing, contract setup, pricing governance, accruals, and AR posting.
  • Expertise with Oracle AR or similar ERP platforms (contract setup, pricing, billing batches, adjustments, queries).
  • Knowledge of internal controls, documentation standards, SOX requirements, and approval workflows.
  • Strong analytical ability to validate billing outputs, identify inconsistencies, resolve data issues, and support revenue accuracy.
  • Understanding of the hospitality industry’s operational dynamics (multi‑property structure, vendor ecosystem, high transaction volume).
  • Leadership capability to train, supervise, and coach analysts in billing, contract setup, and pricing governance.
  • Ability to partner effectively with AR, Collections, Cash App, and IT to resolve systemic issues.
  • Experience improving billing processes, reducing defects, and strengthening data governance.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, with the capacity to support cross‑regional operations.

Required Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • 8-10+ years of experience in Billing, O2C, or Contract/Rate Management.
  • Experience in Shared Services Center, or multi entity environments. 
  • Hands on experience working with ERP systems, preferably Oracle AR. 
  • Experience working in Shared Services Centers, within complex environments and large volumes of operation.
  • Experience in negotiating and managing Service Level Agreements (SLAs). 
  • Experience in transitioning AR activities to Shared Services Center environments (creation of desktop procedures, work shadowing, etc.)
  • Preferred certifications: CPA/Contador Público, CMA. 
  • Hospitality, retail, or multi-location industry experience is strongly preferred
