The Role

This role will be part of Global Shared Services based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The Compensation and Benefits Manager support the U.S.-based Human Resources function by leading benefits and compensation administration activities within a Global Shared Services model. This role is accountable for the accurate, timely, and compliant execution of day to day benefits and compensation operations, ensuring consistent service delivery aligned with established U.S. policies, plan documents, governance standards, and service level agreements.

The role manages day to day compensation operations by delivering accurate market analysis and salary actions for non executive employees, resolving compensation inquiries, administering sales incentives and the Annual Incentive Plan, supporting annual merit cycles, and assisting with compensation surveys - all while ensuring strong governance, data integrity, and alignment with U.S. compensation practices.

In addition, Compensation and Benefits Manager serves as the primary operational owner for Compensation and Benefits delivery within the Global Shared Services. This includes providing day to day leadership to operational staff; managing work allocation, quality assurance, and issue resolution; and monitoring performance against defined KPIs and SLAs.
The role acts as a key operational partner to U.S. Total Rewards leadership, HR Business Partners, Payroll, and third party vendors, supporting smooth execution of recurring annual cycles, ongoing transactions, and operational handoffs while escalating exceptions and risks in accordance with governance expectations.

What you'll do

  • Compensation Operations Management
    • Conduct analysis and market pricing for ongoing salary changes for non–C-suite employees, including promotions, adjustments, and off-cycle changes, ensuring data accuracy and proper approvals. 
    • Respond to and resolve day-to-day compensation-related inquiries from HR partners, leaders, and employees, providing clear and consistent guidance aligned with U.S. compensation practices.
    • Sales-incentive administration: validate earnings, support compensation statement generation, support the build of summary reporting, support with loading and assignment of incentive plan documents.
    • Support the annual non-executive salary planning processes, including merit increase cycles, ensuring adherence to approved guidelines, timelines, and governance. 
    • Administer the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) for eligible employee populations, including calculations, earnings validation, and reconciliation.
    • Assist in survey participation as needed.
  • Supervise and direct the Benefits Analyst in executing enrollment, plan changes, transactional processing, and data management, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to established procedures and service standards.
  • Oversee 401(k) administration, tuition reimbursement, and health and welfare vendor management, including financial reconciliation and audit readiness, ensuring consistent policy application, strong internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage and oversee analysts and operational staff, including work allocation, output review, coaching, and issue escalation.
  • Maintain SOPs, controls, audit documentation, and operational readiness for recurring annual processes.
  • Track KPIs/SLAs, identify process improvements, and coordinate enhancements with U.S. stakeholders.
  • Ad-hoc tasks as needed.

You'll be successful if you have

  • Demonstrated ability to lead high volume, transactional HR operations with a strong focus on accuracy, internal controls, confidentiality, and service delivery quality.
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. compensation operations, including annual cycles and ongoing transactions, benefit operations knowledge a plus. 
  • Proven experience managing and overseeing teams in a shared services or delivery oriented environment with defined KPIs, SLAs, and performance targets. 
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and data management skills, with the ability to interpret compensation guidelines and apply them consistently.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams, competing execution priorities, deadlines, and escalations in a fast paced operational environment. 
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to partner with U.S. HR stakeholders, address employee and compensation inquiries, and clearly explain outcomes and decisions.
  • High level of accountability for meeting accuracy, timeliness, and quality standards across benefits and compensation processes. 
  • Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel; experience with compensation systems (e.g., SuccessFactors) preferred.

Required Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • 7 - 10 years of experience in Compensation operations – with Benefits experience preferred.
  • Experience managing or leading operational teams strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience supporting U.S.‑based HR processes required.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead transactional HR operations with a strong focus on accuracy, controls, confidentiality, and service delivery.
  • Experience supporting U.S.-based HR processes or working in a shared services center environment is strongly preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. benefits administration and compensation operations, including annual cycles and ongoing transactions.
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal) required.
