The Role
This role will be part of Global Shared Services based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The Audit Services Franchise Revenue Sr. Analyst will:
- Support the execution of the franchise revenue audit plan by performing analytical, investigative, and audit procedures designed to identify unreported room revenue, system issues, and process gaps impacting financial compliance.
- Conduct virtual and property management system audits, ensuring the accuracy of gross room revenue reporting and adherence to franchise agreements and brand standards.
- Collaborate closely with the Audit Services Manager to document findings and provide guidance to franchisees and support the resolution of audit matters.
- Prepare audit workpapers and contribute to audit reporting for senior management.
What you'll do
- Conduct virtual property management system audits, including review and testing of franchisees’ financial information for accurate gross room revenue reporting.
- Draft and send audit confirmation letters outlining required financial records and audit logistics.
- Document audit procedures, test results, and findings, ensuring completeness and accuracy of workpapers.
- Communicate audit findings to Audit Services Manager.
- Perform quarterly Nightly Transmission (NT) audits.
- Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to address audit‑related inquiries and support resolution of audit disputes.
- Prepare revenue audit reporting, contribute to budget vs. forecast tracking, and support senior management with data and insights.
You'll be successful if you have
- Strong understanding of auditing principles, revenue compliance, internal controls, and financial reporting requirements.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify irregularities, trends, and root causes within large datasets.
- Experience conducting virtual audits, including preparation of audit documentation, test procedures, and findings.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with franchisees and cross‑functional teams, including Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Billing & Collections.
- High attention to detail, strong documentation discipline and adherence to audit standards.
- Strong communication skills to explain audit outcomes, guide stakeholders, and maintain high‑quality customer service in challenging situations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong time‑management and organizational skills to work independently, manage multiple audits, and meet deadlines.
- Fluency in English and Spanish, with the capacity to support cross regional operations.
Required Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; other business degrees considered with relevant experience.
- 4-6 years of experience in auditing, compliance, accounting, or financial controls.
- Experience performing audits within financial services, hospitality, or franchised environments is preferred.
- Experience working in Shared Services Center environments is a plus.
- CPA or other relevant business certification preferred.
- Experience preparing audit workpapers, analyzing financial information, and supporting audit conclusions through documentation.
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience interacting with franchisees, brand operations, and internal business stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and execute decisions that impact audit outcomes and revenue reporting accuracy.
