Dolce Sitges is now seeking a Chief Enginneer to join our team.

Job Summary

The Chief Engineer is responsible for all administrative, financial and operating aspects of the hotel as they directly relate to the Engineering division. 

 About the hotel:

Dolce Sitges a luxury resort located 30 minutes from Barcelona with breathtaking sea views and surrounded by nature, just reopens its doors this year converted into a Mediterranean Oasis of Luxury. Our goal, at all times, is to create a space where guest would be able to disconnect from the world, as if they were in their particular oasis

General Requirements

Some of the responsibilities you will be entrusted with: 

  • Supervise and train all Engineering staff in Customer Service, Empowerment and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Create and adhere to annual budget and CAPEX for department.
  • Develop and implement plans to maintain property, equipment, grounds and other assets in an acceptable state of repair.
  • Ensure the hotel is in compliance with all local and federal laws.
  • Administer all vendor contracts controlled by the engineering department.
  • Assures implementation of Wyndham policies, standards and procedures for:
      • Fire & Life Safety programs.
      • Physical security programs.
  • Current knowledge of modern trends and applications in the field of Engineering.
Education & Experience
  • Degree in Engineering or related studies.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as Chief Engineer within a similar sized branded hotel.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead teams.
  • Intermediate - advanced level knowledge of Excel, Word and AutoCAD required.

Must be able to communicate effectively in Spanish. Fluency in English will be considered
