Dolce is now seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our team at the Dolce Summit location in CincinnatiOhio.

Job Summary

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for assisting the Director of Human Resources with a variety of Human Resources functions. The Human Resource Manager will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. The Human Resources Manager will have a heavy focus on the full recruiting lifecycle with knowledge and experience with screening, interviewing, and hiring practices.

Education & Experience
  • At least 4 years of progressive experience in Human Resources (hotel experience preferred); or a 4-year college degree and 2 years of progressive experience in Human Resources (hotel experience preferred)
  • Previous supervisory responsibility preferred
  • College course work in related field preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • PHR, SPHR Preferred
Physical Requirements
  • Long hours sometimes required.
  • Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

  • Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.
Fundamental Requirements
  • Manage the interviewing process of candidates and follow standards for hiring approvals, including but not limited to preparing and placing recruitment advertising, reviewing applications/resumes, prescreening interviews, schedule interviews with management, coordinate and conduct applicant drug screens, background checks and reference checks.
  • Schedule and assist in new hire orientation.
  • Answer questions regarding benefits including but not limited to 401K Plan, PTO and benefits (insured and noninsured).
  • Process and maintain new hire, termination, transfer and promotions paperwork and update system.
  • Assist with special projects; plan associate events (meetings, picnics, parties).
  • Responsible for all administrative aspects of the Human Resources department.
  • Track and maintain property compliance with required compliance trainings.
