Dolce is now seeking a Transportation Coordinator to join our team at the Dolce American Airlines location in Fort WorthTexas.

Job Summary

The Transportation Coordinator is responsible for monitoring transportation effectiveness and reliability to and from area hotels, ensuring timely pick-ups and proper amount of vehicles.  They will also maximize savings in transportation costs.

Education & Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of six months job-related experience required.
  • Computer experience required.
  • Customer service experience required.

Physical Requirements

  • Flexible and long hours sometimes required
  • Exerting up to 30 pounds of force occassionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
  • Ability to stand during majority of shift

  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and nametag.
  • Comply with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.
  • Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
  • Must be able to understand and apply complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives.
  • Must be able to cross-train in other hotel related areas.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.

Fundamental Requirements

  • Compose weekly transportation schedule as needed for classes.
  • Review transportation schedules, comparing with class schedules.
  • Supervise bus companies to ensure they adhere to the schedule.  Take corrective action as needed.
  • Rearrange bus company schedules to accommodate fluctuations in transportation needs.
  • Supervise shuttles to provide continuous transportation for students and guests.
  • Document & investigate any transportation challenges and identify possible solutions.
  • Make suggestions to reduce transportation expenses and to improve quality of service.
  • Drive company vehicle when needed for added/last minute shuttles.
  • Attend weekly transportation meetings.
  • Assist reservations in booking rooms, inputting rooming lists, building master accounts for each class.
  • Audit & process transportation invoices.
  • Perform any reasonable tasks assigned by strategic team members and / or general manager.
