Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking a Senior Analyst - Financial Planning & Analysis EMEA to join our team in the UK.

Job Summary

The Senior Analyst - Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), EMEA will be responsible for producing accurate reports including monthly financials for EMEA corporate P&L, RevPar, Revenues and Cost Centres analytics. They will analyse KPI’s and prepare Forecasts and Budgets in a timely manner.

They will also be required to provide extensive analytical support, metrics and data to the Head of Finance EMEA in order to support FP&A activity.

They will present a positive image of the organisation and embody the Company’s Count on Me! service culture.


The Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis must be able to effectively communicate with all management levels and share information across the organization in a timely manner.

The individual in this position must be able to work with very little supervision and must possess the ability to make sound recommendations that could materially affect the financial position of the division.   


Financial Planning, Reporting & Analysis

  • Responsibility for completion and analysis of monthly financials for EMEA corporate P&L, including RevPar, Revenues and Cost Centres analytics
  • In collaboration with EMEA Management Accountant, conduct monthly variance Analysis of P&L to forecast & budgets, including providing commentary and recommendations on highlighted risks and opportunities
  • Preparation of monthly forecasts and Annual Budget for the EMEA Division and its regional offices, operational drivers and expenditure controls including Executive reporting documents
  • Manage the process to provide accurate and timely forecasting of Net Room Growth, highlighting risks and opportunities to Managing Director and US, utilising information received from Regional Directors & NHOP team
  • Continual development and improvement of statistical data collation and productivity ratios and to improve monthly business analysis.
  • Manage the production of Weekly & Monthly Managed Hotel Financial Reports and forecasts to be utilised by Regional Management and for Hotel Business Reviews. Includes monitoring of Wynview for accuracy
  • Assistance in review of European Managed hotel budgets, liaising with Regional Corporate Functions and perform analytical review and commentary to challenge Hotels and identify areas of opportunity.

  • Educated to minimum of university graduate in Finance/Accounting
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience within the hospitality industry
  • Good level of competency in the use of Microsoft office is essential
  • Advanced ability to use Excel
  • Strong analytical & Financial skills
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
  • Good interpersonal skills – ability to influence and persuade and to support as needed
  • Fluency in English is essential and additional local languages would be an advantage
  • High level of literacy and numeracy
  • Previous experience in a global organisation will be beneficial
  • Experience of working with Tableau would be an advantage
