Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking a Coordinator, Global Sales to join our team at the Parsippany - 22 Sylvan Way location in ParsippanyNew Jersey.

Job Summary

The Global Sales Coordinator (GSC) is a member of the Center of Excellence (COE), a centralize sales support resource in a shared service capacity focused across segments on reporting, commissions, invoices, contracting, customer presentations, account segment support and rate loading and RFP / lead management support.  The COE team supports the Global Sellers who are strategically deployed across North America to support their client base.  The GSC will assist the Global Sellers with all administrative activities, requests, and processes to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction, and to maximize selling and face time the Global Sellers have with their clients.  


The key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

•    Assisting GSO sellers with customer communication, providing hotel responses, pricing and general follow-up.
•    Taking a proactive approach to assisting GSO sellers in achieving their goals by assisting in preparing for sales trips; identifying collateral needs; creating presentations and shipment of materials; managing meeting logistics; coordinating visits to customer office.
•    Assisting with the processing industry events and membership invoices.
•    Monitoring lead management process and working closely with Global Account Services team, Cvent and Wyndham GSO Sales Leads.
•    Assisting with all aspects of the planning and execution of sales missions and joint customer calls including but not limited to emarketing, thinking about ways to improve sales missions to help the global sellers to ensure they have a robust schedule of appointments, good attendance at events and strong ROI from these initiatives. Ensuring that customer commissions are properly processed, pitch in with commission reporting and execution as needed working closely with corporate commissions team and the reporting team to find ways to improve process that will help the Wyndham organization be both more effective and efficient. 
•    Running and providing select GSO reports / dashboards for the Sellers for customer meetings, meetings with hotels, owners and FSOs. 
•    Running Cvent, Birst, Lanyon and Salesforce Lightning report for the Global Sellers as needed.
•    Assisting the Global Account Directors/Managers with Key Account plans, projects, updating profiles, key account plans and ensuring that the KAPs are easy to access and store on Salesforce Lightning.
•    Assist assigned Global Sellers with specific segment or market support as required.  (example would be CLC or long term stay)  Including client interaction, reporting, document management, system assistance and projects.
•    Effectively communicate with clients, sellers, hotel owners and internal departments in a timely and courteous manner,


This ideal candidate must have an upbeat client friendly personality, team oriented and proactive approach to working with Senior Directors and Directors and have highly effective communication skills. This person must be a self-starter, resourceful and have the ability to assess a need and identify solutions/processes to support the team.


1. Monitor Account and Lead Management Process and RFP / Rate Load
Assist Directors with the lead management process on a daily basis. Monitor assigned leads and hotel responses, especially when the Directors are traveling. Assist in the follow-up with clients to ensure that they are up to date on hotel responses and pricing.  Work in Salesforce Lightning (Wyndham Sales Leads) and Cvent.  Work closely with Global Account Services and RFP Teams.  Assist Directors to ensure that customer commissions are up to date for third party accounts.  Assist directors with key accounts and segments example CLC, Extended Stay or HelmsBriscoe.  Assist directors on a daily basis with the RFP process, rate loading process and audits. Open cases in Salesforce Ligthning and work in Lanyon, Sabre and Prolodgic.


2. Reporting & SoftwareProvide weekly reports. 
Assist Directors with ad hoc client and account reporting, assist directors with pulling birst, Cvent, Lanyon and salesforce lightning reports, Lanyon and prepare reports for trade shows and missions. Run and provide select GSO reports / dashboards for the GADs for customer meetings, meetings with hotels, owners and FSOs.

3. Trade Show, Sales Missions, Sales Trips
Assist with all aspects of the planning and execution of sales missions and joint customer calls. Assist with eblasts (pre and post show) and tracking. Assist with trade show responsibilities and load all business cards into Salesforce Lightning and lead information into Excel spreadsheet.
Assist the Global Account Directors/Managers with Key Account projects, updating profiles, key account plans for sales trips, missions and trade shows.  Ship materials.


4. Cross Functional Projects
Project Management; lead a cross function project from start to finish with milestone updates.

Scope/Financial Responsibility

Assist with budget and reporting when needed.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-5years relevant work experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher etc.), Lanyon, Cvent, Zoominfo, Zoom or other virtual training technology, and basic Salesforce Lightning


Organizational Relationships

The position is part of the Global Sales Operations team and will report to Laura Cunningham, Manager Operations & Process, COE along with working closely with the Support Teams, Global Account Directors and Leaders. The position will also interface with internal teams such as commissions, brands, hotel operations, franchise operations, external GSO customers and the GSO sellers on the team.
