Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking an Intern IT Support EMEA to join our team in London, United Kingdom.


The Internship

As a member of the Wyndham Global IT Support team, the Intern will assist the team in providing first class end-user support to all employees within the Europe, the Middle East, Eurasia and Africa (EMEA) division. Initially the job holder will be working remotely and then will be moving to an office environment (where applicable), assisting users by troubleshooting IT-related issues on site and remotely within the EMEA division.

This is a front line IT role working across an international environment. Coupled with technical support, an important element of the role is to be a customer service point of contact for the Service Desk, liaising with users, with an emphasis on excellent customer service to instill confidence and build a positive relationship with all levels of users.


Other aspects of the role include administrative tasks associated with the successful operation of the IT department.


1. Providing first and second line desktop support to our employees, the job holder will be responsible for repairing, replacing and maintaining end-user computers, mobile phones and printing devices.
2. Working as team on the Helpdesk ticketing system to ensure service level targets are met, managing requests and maintaining our asset register.
3. Assisting in on-boarding and off-boarding users, setting up and configuring users’ devices, desks and preform archiving leavers’ data.
4. Helping with rollout of refreshing users’ devices and rollout of essential Windows 10 updates. This will involve imaging devices and setting up profiles and various software.
5. Working on decommissioning of redundant user devices and computer hardware, while ensuring IT processes are followed for secure disposal and asset tracking.
6. Ad-hoc tasks: supporting EMEA users with general IT queries and assisting with other reasonable requests from the EMEA Senior Leadership team.
7. Internship Group Project: all Interns will be involved in a business-critical project during their internship.

Experience/ Certificates/ Education

• Bachelor degree in Information Technology or any related field (or studying towards) is required.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programmes including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and Apple mobile products
• Basic networking knowledge
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Some familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory and Anti-Virus software would be beneficial.

Compensation & Benefits

• £17,500 gross per annum, prorated for the duration of the internship
• 25 days of holidays per annum (accrued basis)
