Job Summary

The Marketing Executive is responsible for effectively soliciting and becoming familiar with all job specifications assigned to him/her. He/she is also responsible for working as a key member of the marketing team, as the Graphic Designer is responsible for creating design solutions with high visual impact. Support the Marketing Team on implementation of marketing strategies. Advance knowledge of Adobe Packages Programs as: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign etc. Photography/Videography skills is an added advantage. The candidate must be comfortable working within Hotel Brand Guidelines while also able to step outside the box to develop creative designs. Ensures the all marketing collateral are within the Wyndham Hotels & Resorts guidelines. Knowledgeable about working with corporate and luxury lifestyle brands. Enthusiastic with a positive outlook and flexible mindset. Ensure that a consistent brand image is presented in communications. Ensure social media content is kept up to date. Cover all hotel events, theme nights and activities by taking digital photo and videos to be communicated on social media including live posts. To assist in getting marketing materials produced. Strong organizational and time management skills to meet expectations, deadlines and commitments. Coordinate with various departments for marketing / sales efforts. Attend relevant functions to ensure that the Hotel has the appropriate focus / representation in the market. Responsible for outreach and coordination of items related to the marketing / sales operation of the Hotel. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. 

Education & Experience

  • At least 2 years of progressive hotel Marketing experience; or a 4 year college degree and at least 2 year of related experience; or a 2year college degree and 3 or more years of related experience.
  • Fluency in written and verbal English is a must. Ability to speak Arabic is an added advantage.

  • Detail oriented with a track record of follow through and delivery Apple Mac / PC literate with competency in all major design computer packages.

Physical Requirements

  • Long hours sometimes required.
  • Light work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

  • Participate in M.O.D. coverage as required.
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing nametags.
  • Comply with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.
  • Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
  • Must be able to understand and evaluate complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.

Fundamental Requirements

  • Attend daily Wyndham Business Review (WBR) meeting.
  • Develop a full working knowledge of the operations of the hotel, including Food and Beverage, Guest Services and Reservations.
  • Develop a complete knowledge of company sales and Marketing policies and SOP’s, and ensure knowledge of and adherence to those policies by the sales and Marketing team.
  • Meet or exceed set goals.
  • Assist in implementing special promotions relating to direct sales segments, i.e.WynClub parties, sales blitzes, etc.
  • Assist in the preparation of required reports in a timely manner.
  • Meet and greet onsite contacts.
  • Entertain clients.
  • Handle inquiries.
