Wyndham Grand is now seeking a Complex Marketing Manager to join our team at the Wyndham Orlando Bonnet Creek location in OrlandoFlorida.

Job Summary

This position exists to strategically assist the Director of Sales & Marketing for both Bonnet Creek and I-Drive locations in achieving core financial objectives through the utilization of integrated marketing tools such as website, social media, Public Relations, printed collateral, direct mail and advertising.  Primary responsibilities include managing key suppliers and creating the partnerships that will drive the desired results.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree.  Marketing or Advertising preferred.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a related marketing position, with a high focus in digital marketing required.
  • Hospitality experience preferred. 
  • Understanding of the hotel industry, preferably in a sales and marketing capacity.
  • Orlando experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Experience with budgets and expense management. 
  • Proven success in on-line marketing. 
  • Computer literate / working knowledge of Excel, graphic design with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign experience, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Social media fluency in Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
  • Knowledge of Accounting / Purchasing Programs Helpful (e.g. WynSource and SAP)
Physical Requirements
  • Long hours, with nights and weekends sometimes required. 
  • Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

  • Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.
  • Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
  • Must be able to understand and apply complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives.
  • Must be able to cross-train in other hotel related areas.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
  • Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
Fundamental Requirements
  • Identify problem areas, implement marketing solutions, and maximize efforts towards driving revenues for all audience segments including but not limited to groups, local, international, US domestic, travel agents and on-property guests.
  • Lead marketing efforts for all aspects of the property, including but not limited to: restaurant outlets, spa, meeting spaces, and more. 
  • Assist Director of Sales and Marketing in developing and owning strategic marketing/advertising plans for each area of the hotel. 
  • Manage marketing and advertising budgets for each area of the hotel. 
  • Develop and implement property digital marketing strategy for each area of the hotel, which includes but is not limited to:
    • Conducting reoccurring audits of online presence 
    • Offer development and auditing to ensure current and productive
    • Executing integrated marketing campaigns 
    • Coordinating the development and maintenance of independent site content  
    • Initiating, evolving, and owning the on-property email marketing program(s) 
    • Negotiating and cultivating partnership marketing opportunities 
    • Managing SEM agency for unbranded paid search, remarketing, and display ads
    • Managing GDS and OTA advertising execution
    • Managing each property’s public relations efforts and public relations agencies
    • Managing each property’s creative agency for online and offline advertising 
    • Directly managing each property’s social media efforts 
  • Own any and all reporting and results for all marketing initiatives 
  • Develop printed collateral and advertising in brand standards for all outlets and aspects of the property as needed. 
  • Be able to plan, facilitate and manage any marketing videography and / or photo shoots.
  • Be able to create, design and implement targeted email campaigns for Group and Leisure.
  • Be present at applicable on-property events to ensure proper positioning.
  • Attend all appropriate on-property meetings. 
  • Educate the property teams regarding all current on-property marketing initiatives. 
  • Be the owner of the on-property signage and promotional items and ensure best-in-class look and feel with compliance in brand standards. 
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
