The Role

The Strategy and Technology team is a pilar in the Central Systems Organization responsible for managing the relationships between business teams and our technology partner, Sabre. In addition, team members are responsible for partnering with business teams on their strategic road maps and aligning the technical needs with our technology partners roadmap. The Analyst, Strategy & Technology will manage enhancement and defect prioritization, engage in testing new enhancements, facilitation of UAT, and partner with other key business areas to drive strategic initiatives that align with the company’s goals.

What you'll do

  • Partner with business teams to align on technology partner road maps, enhancements, and defects. 
  • Work collaboratively with entire Strategy and Technology team to follow enhancements through the 4D process and provide accurate reporting on status. 
  • Work collaboratively with entire Strategy and Technology team manage defects reported within SynXis CR, prioritize, and provide accurate reporting in status.
  • Attend internal meetings to review statement of needs and solution requirement documents to provide feedback on operational impacts from a property or organization perspective.
  • Absorb monthly maintenance releases and quarterly enhancement releases to coordinate user acceptance testing and provide testing status.
  • Partner with entire Central Systems Team to assess SynXis CR, SVA and other integration partners to look for trends or areas of improvement and work with partners to address or promote a path forward.
  • Provide expertise and system support in other areas as needed.

  • Must be able to utilize computer functions within Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Internet Browser and any other systems that may be designated by the company.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
  • Attend meetings/training as required by management.

Required Qualifications/Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • College degree or equivalent in travel industry, revenue management, or related fields preferred.
  • Two to four years of experience in the travel industry.
  • Knowledge of Wyndham systems (i.e. PMS. Salesforce & Sabre CRS) required.
  • Strong analytical ability; exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid computer skills with proficiency in MS Office; specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
