Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking a Analyst, Payroll to join our team at the Parsippany - 22 Sylvan Way location in ParsippanyNew Jersey.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Analyst, Payroll is responsible for payroll processing for multiple US pay groups using ADP Enterprise V5.  Other duties include calculating manual checks, data entry of direct deposit and tax forms, completing employment and wage verifications, and registering team members in payroll card program.  In addition, the Analyst responds to property level team member pay inquiries and troubleshoots time and attendance issues. 

The Analyst’s main responsibilities will be processing payroll and issuing manual checks; however, the Analyst may also have time and attendance, banking, garnishment, or tax-related responsibilities as well, depending on work rotations or back-up responsibilities.

  • Weekly payroll processing for multiple pay groups in ADP EV5 Payroll.
  • Data input, as necessary, for manual checks, voids, stop pays, direct deposit reversals, and payroll adjustments.
  • Team lead for Kronos administration.  Troubleshoot any Kronos time and attendance inquiries.  Process pay period signoff and upload extract files to ADP EV5.  Partner with HRMS on end user testing.
  • Create and upload manual check positive pay file to Bank of America site.  Research and resolve all positive pay exceptions.
  • Review ADP invoices and report funding amounts to Treasury on daily basis.  Partner with Accounting to reconcile funding to the general ledger each month.
  • Fund pay cards for manual and recognition payments.
  • Process returned ACHs and Notice of Change (NOC) account corrections.
  • Integral part of quarter and year end activities. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Perform all assigned job duties in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and standard practices.

Essential Job Functions

  • Process multi-state US payroll using ADP Enterprise v5 on a weekly and bi-weekly basis.
  • Responding to payroll related inquiries by email and phone in a timely manner. 
  • Data input, as necessary, for manual checks, reversals, tax forms, direct deposit, and pay adjustments.
  • Completing with accuracy employment and wage verification documents.
  • Process and reconcile unclaimed wage payments.
  • Register team members in payroll card program. 
  • Assist with year-end and other special projects as needed.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

  • Education and Training
    • College degree preferred.
  • Knowledge and Skills
    • Ability to function effectively and efficiently in a busy work environment.
    • Ability to manage own work on multiple projects/tasks concurrently.
    • Able to work flexible/extended hours when necessary.
    • Ability to assess sense of urgency and prioritization of work.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills. 
    • Strong administrative skills.
  • Technical Skills
    • Experience with ADP Enterprise v4 or v5.
    • Experience with Kronos Workforce Central.
    • Efficient using Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, and Word. 
    • Efficient using collaboration tools such as Zoom.
    • Efficient using ticket management systems such as Zendesk.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 2 to 4 years in payroll administration.

Organizational Relationships

This position will liaise with business partners in the HR, Benefits, Payroll, and Compensation areas and may interact with senior leadership and some business partners outside of the HR sphere including Finance, IT, and Legal. 

This position will report to SVP, HRMS, Analytics & Payroll.
