Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking a Analyst, Performance Analytics - Revenue Management to join our team at the Parsippany - 22 Sylvan Way location in ParsippanyNew Jersey.

Job Summary

The Analyst of Revenue Management Analytics will play an important role by measuring, reporting and executing processes and procedures necessary for WHR to meet business objectives. This role requires a high degree of collaboration with our key Revenue Generation team business partners and other internal groups to ensure proper alignment and execution of processes. The position requires ability to perform predictive analytics and ROI analysis. The position will report on performance, analyze results, identify opportunity areas, and help prepare thoughtful read-outs to leadership.  As part of the Analytics Center of Excellence, this position will work in tandem with Business Intelligence and other Data & Analytics teams to deliver on business analytics and reporting needs. This role will be critical in developing data and analytical capabilities that demonstrate trends and performance, in order to empower the RevGen teams to take action. 

Responsibilities

  1. Ad-hoc analysis - Utilize various reports and reporting systems to perform ad-hoc analysis. Analyze data, create reports, and communicate insights on performance and trends. 
  2. RevGen business intelligence - Liaison with the business to create BI functional requirements document to support future reporting and analytics. This role must be well versed in working with multiple business intelligence tools such as Birst, SAS, Tableau, ect. 
  3. Reporting – produce recurring reports to support RevGen business teams 
  4. Predictive analytics – work with key stakeholders in developing key performance indicators and business goals
  5. ROI analysis – work with key stakeholders in setting expectations around promotions and other core business activities to help support business decisions

The Analyst of Revenue Management Analytics will support the development and expansion of reporting and analytics that are vital to the success of the Revenue Generation organization.  

 

Scope/Financial Responsibility
Reporting & analytics outputs will be used by RevGen teams to drive business decisions across various initiatives. 

Abilities/Key Compentencies/Skills

•    Excellent time management and organizational skills
•    Ability to manage multiple priorities, work well under pressure 
•    Ability to work independently 
•    Ability to collaborate with peers effectively
•    Ability to own a process from start to finish 
•    Good working knowledge of data sources 
•    Strong Excel skills required 
•    SQL knowledge a plus
•    R/Python knowledge a plus 
•    Ability to manage large data sets
•    Excellent communication skills (spoken and written)


Experience/Certificates/Education
•    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics/Applied Statistics, Economics, Finance, Data, Analytics, Strategy or closely related field; 
•    0-2 years of experience in a related field/position
