The Role
The Sustainability Analyst will work with the VP, Global Sustainability & ESG and Senior Manager, ESG & Organizational Effectiveness to maintain the Environmental Management System and sustainability platform; maintain, analyze, and report sustainability data and metrics, including preparation of the annual greenhouse gas inventory; and support climate risk assessments. The Analyst will support NAMER, LATAMC, EMEA, and APAC in tracking, measuring, and improving environmental performance through sustainable brand standards and sustainability framework best practices. The role supports operational efficiency, cost reduction, stakeholder engagement, and guest loyalty.
What you'll do
- Maintain sustainability data and metrics; work with global regions and internal stakeholders to collect, validate, analyze, and interpret energy, water, waste, emissions, and other environmental data; prepare the annual greenhouse gas inventory; and coordinate with auditors on environmental data verification.
- Track franchisee utility data sharing compliance by reviewing the completeness of hotel utility usage data shared through the company’s sustainability platform in accordance with brand standards requirements; report compliance levels, coordinate alerts or communications to non-compliant hotels, and assist hotels with data submission and platform features.
- Support franchisees with sustainable practices required by sustainable brand standards or promoted through sustainability framework best practices, serving as the primary escalation point for the Operations Support Desk and Operations team members who provide frontline franchisee support.
- Maintain hotel metrics within the sustainability platform by updating monthly or quarterly data sourced from internal teams, organizing and formatting data for standardized uploads, and updating the hotel portfolio monthly to provide new hotels with timely access.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote sustainability initiatives, integrate sustainability into business practices, and provide program training as needed.
- Support sustainability and ESG external reporting efforts; assist with climate risk assessments by coordinating climate hazard, exposure, and vulnerability data and analyzing physical and transition risks across the hotel portfolio; and assist in analyzing ESG-related ratings, coordinating with cross-functional team members to increase transparency and disclosure where feasible.
- Assist in the maintenance and administration of the environmental management system.

- Proven analytical skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven written and verbal communications skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to a variety of audiences.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Ability to problem solve, working independently or within a team, to analyze and solve project or process issues.
- Knowledge, understanding and practical experience of environmental sustainability, corporate social responsibility, and wider environmental, social and governance issues within the hotel industry.
- Passion for sustainability.
- Knowledge of environmental data reporting and environmental management systems is a plus.
Required Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, environmental science, sustainability or related field.
- 1-3 years work experience or master’s degree in Sustainability or related field.
- Demonstrated strong computer skills to include MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).

Compensation & Benefits
For U.S. based positions only, the expected pay range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 annually.
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts carefully considers a wide range of factors when determining compensation such as work location, background, experience, and performance. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
In addition to the base pay, this role is eligible to receive an incentive payment pursuant to the Annual Incentive Plan with a 10% annual target, subject to the terms of the Plan.
