Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking a Assistant, Franchise Sales & Development to join our team at the Remote in the United States location in Remote, Remote or on the West Coast.
Job Summary
Position is responsible for all administrative processes required by the respective Regional Vice President and Senior Vice President (i.e. –correspondence, preparing monthly T&E report, coordinating travel arrangements, filing, ordering supplies, and scheduling meetings, etc.). Position is also responsible for assisting between 5 and 7 Development Directors/Development Managers with all development and prospecting activities.
Responsibilities
- Create, process, and review prospect applications and supporting documentation. Distribute and track deal terms and related approvals for license agreements, revisions, and amendments (assist with proofreading, editing and distribution), and executions and openings of properties through Salesforce.com (“SFDC”). SFDC responsibilities include: lead distribution, maintenance and updating of team tasks and event calendars, monitoring stale dated opportunities and unassigned leads. Uploading documents and creating views and distributing reports as needed. Track applications received and distribute for weekly RVP team call which includes researching market generators, mapping properties and compiling all required information for brand review.
- Responsible for generating Supplemental Earnings Claims for respective teams and submitting to WHR corporate for final review and legal approval.
- Research & Analysis - Deal points & stipulations, AOP’s, windows, termination & expiration notices, market analysis reports (STR), mapping site availability, reviewing punch lists.
- Responsible for coordinating quarterly reviews which includes creating RVP & SVP review books and business plans, travel arrangements, meeting space, food and beverages, and any additional information requested.
- Responsible for the company Document Management Program and Record Retention (maintenance and disposal of deal files and T&E reports).
- Coordinate A/P responsibilities which include: T&E processing, monthly P-Card reconciliation and processing and tracking of invoices and check requests.
- Responsible for ordering and distribution of prospect mailings, sales collateral, business cards, stationary and supplies.
- Responsible for On & Off Boarding process for respective teams and ongoing system/process training for new hires.
- Assist with a variety of special projects, both internal and external, as needed (ie. regional conventions, cross-functional department requests, etc.)
Complexity
There is limited level of decision making and a high level of autonomy and confidentiality. Most direction comes from Regional Vice President & Sales Director. This position does not supervise.
Scope/Financial Responsibility
This position is responsible for supporting Franchise Sales Directors, Managing Directors, Regional Vice Presidents, and Senior Vice Presidents (including EVP as needed). The position has a direct effect on net room growth and revenue generation through fees negotiated in the franchise agreements.
Abilities/Key Competencies/Skills
Qualified applicants need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to adapt to change and perform in pressure filled sales environments. Candidate must have good computer skills.
Experience/Certificates/Education
- High school diploma required / bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of administrative experience required

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Internet savvy
