The Role

Are you ready to shake up social media for the world’s largest hotel franchisor? Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is looking for a creative, strategic, and fearless social media expert to lead the charge in transforming how our iconic brands engage with the world.
This is your chance to shape the voice, presence, and personality of some of the most beloved hospitality brands, drive community engagement, and make a direct impact on brand consideration and loyalty. What you'll do

Strategic Leadership

  • Own the big-picture strategy for paid and organic social across all brands and campaigns, ensuring we show up on the right platforms, with the right message, at the right time.
  • Define how our brands engage with consumers—from what we say and how often we say it to which social moments we own.
  • Build and execute a community engagement strategy that fosters genuine, long-term connections with travelers and loyalty members.
  • Lead the charge in platform selection, testing, and optimization, ensuring Wyndham is always ahead of the social media curve.
  • Influencer & Creator Programs: Develop a structured approach for onboarding influencers, managing property experiences, and building out Wyndham’s creator network (including an affiliate offering!).
  • Tool & Tech Investments: Identify and implement the best social media tools for content creation, tracking, and measurement.
  • Paid Media Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with the Paid Media team to unlock insights, refine performance strategies, and ensure social content delivers measurable results.

Content & Storytelling

  • Partner with Brand Marketing and our agency to develop on-brand, culturally relevant, and platform-specific content that makes our brands and Wyndham Rewards shine.
  • At times, you may step in to create content, so familiarity with Adobe Suite or other design tools is a plus.
  • Maintain and manage the Organic Social Calendar, ensuring consistent, high-quality storytelling across all priority brands, in partnership with Brand Marketing.
  • Shape our influencer partnerships, helping identify, vet, and co-manage content creation with Brand Marketing team.

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Partner with Brand Marketing, Paid Media, and internal teams to ensure social efforts are seamlessly integrated across all marketing touchpoints.

Operational & Financial Management

  • Manage North American social media invoicing and collaborate with international teams to ensure timely payments.
  • Serve as the primary account owner, managing access and permissions across social platforms.

You’ll have the opportunity to engage with stakeholders at all levels, from top executives to franchise owners, and even take the stage at our global conference.

Required Qualifications/Experience

  • 7-10 years in social media management, ideally in hospitality, travel, or related industries.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; certifications in social media, digital marketing, or related areas a plus.
