Job Summary

The Wyndham Rewards team is looking for a Director, Strategic Partnerships to join the Global Partnerships team. In this role, the Director will be responsible for both new business development and current partner management and optimization.  The candidate will be asked to identify, develop, and implement new value add partners for the program while directly managing a portfolio of existing loyalty partners. 
The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, who can identify and engage with potential partners and understand the impact partnerships could have with the Wyndham Rewards member base.  The candidate will also bring a unique perspective, an analytical mindset, and an ability to collaborate across business functions including marketing, operations, finance, legal, and technology on integration of and day to day management of partnerships.
The person will be responsible for achieving quantitative metrics (EBITDA, WR member engagement targets).  The Director is one of 6 team members responsible for delivery of the overall Strategic Partnership goals.
1. Identify new potential partners to expand earn and redeem options or member benefits for Wyndham Rewards members
2.  Build business cases and materials that clearly demonstrate the value proposition of the partnership
3.  Manage contract negotiations and project plans to ensure successful launch of new partners
4.  Develop strategic marketing plans for new and existing partners
5.  Manage day to day key relationships, track partner performance, and identify ways to grow and optimize existing partnerships

Education & Experience

  • Excellent Excel, Word, Powerpoint skills
  • Strong project management, communication, and strategic thinking skills
  • Proven ability to build, manage, and influence internal and external partner relationships
  • Ability to multi task and prioritize work independently
  • Analytical thinker and team player with ability to collaborate and affect change within the organization
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
  • 7+ years consumer marketing experience, partnerships experience a plus
  • Prior business development experience
  • Experience working in a fast paced, dynamic environment
