The Role

The strategic initiatives and planning office is looking for a Director of Strategy Delivery to lead the definition, execution and realization of defined strategic initiatives.  This role will be a key player on a highly visible team that will work with senior leadership to define, execute and monitor the core strategies of the company.  The director of strategy delivery will stay on top of industry, business and technology trends and evaluate impacts on the organization’s goals.  The role will communicate roadmaps, risks and priorities to ensure continued progress and outcomes are achieved.  

What you'll do

  • Define problem statements, analyze data, and provide solution options for achieving both short term and long-term strategic objectives.  Ensure roadmaps and delivery plans are established during strategy definition that align to achieve desired outcomes and results for the organization.  Map enterprise dependencies and complete organizational risk assessments for implementation.  Consolidate required resources and investments.     
  • Leads delivery of assigned strategic focus area to ensure success.  Drives structured operating cadence to ensure progress and roadmaps are achieved.  Builds clear communications channels and ensures vision and outcomes are understood by teams.  Holds executive level meetings to ensure organizational alignment, evaluate key risks and drive key decisions for enabling desired goals.  
  • Evaluates industry trends, internal assessments, and benchmark research for supporting all phases and strategic planning.  
  • Facilitate organizational change and ensure smooth transitions during project implementation and hand off to business. Develop or oversight of change management plans and support communication and training efforts.
  • Builds relationships with key business and functional stakeholders.  Mentors / coaches team members.

Required Qualifications/Experience

College degree in finance, business and or hospitality management (MBA preferred). 
3 – 5 years in management / leadership role with increasing responsibility with in the hospitality industry and or business consulting.
3+ years of strong program management experience delivering with budgets >$5M.
