Role Summary

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Executive Assistant to be a part of our amazing Human Resource team.  The Executive Assistant will be responsible for providing executive administrative support to our dynamic Chief Human Resource Officer and their direct reports. This role will be the primary point of contact for the office of the CHRO and will represent the CHRO and the Human Resource team to internal and external customers, in person, virtually, online and via phone. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactive management of the CHRO’s calendar including travel, registration for industry events and conferences, notation of direct reports PTO, team service anniversaries and birthdays.
  • High level interaction with senior and executive management, senior executive assistant team, staff, customers, vendors, and visitors.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls and emails, and redirect as appropriate.
  • Plan, organize and execute meetings and events including HR town halls, team building and volunteer days. 
  • Coordination of travel arrangements within company guidelines including flights, train, hotels, and car service.
  • Prepare internal and external documentation for review, approval, and signature by the CHRO. 
  • Ensure timely and accurate review and processing of travel & expense reports, purchasing card statements, invoices, and timekeeping.
  • Collaborate with HR team, IT, and facilities to provide seamless onboarding and/or offboarding experience for team members.
  • Create and modify documents, reports, memos, letters, and meeting and event agendas and presentations.
  • Conduct research, analyze, and synthesize data for consideration and presentation to the leadership and staff.
  • Liaison with facilities to assist with overall maintenance of the organization and its offices.
  • Support staff with ad hoc project-based work and back up other EAs as needed.
  • Always maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Maintain department electronic files, lists, and archives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum of 8+ years executive administrative experience supporting a VP level executive or higher
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Act with a high degree of professionalism and integrity
  • Strong initiative, assertiveness, interpersonal and organizational abilities, and attention to detail and accuracy
  • Must be comfortable working independently with minimal direction, as well as within a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively and professionally with management, colleagues, consultants, and vendors
  • Excellent problem-solving and follow through skills to meet deadlines and rapidly shifting priorities
  • Must be able to prioritize tasks as to urgency and detail is key for support of senior level executives
  • Strong PC skills (MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, GoogleDocs, SmartSheet, etc.)
