The Role

The Manager of Central Systems - Reservations will work collaboratively with various teams responsible for creation/modification of reservations within the SynXis Enterprise technology suite. The Manager will drive technology solution to support the strategic goals across the constituents ensuring optimal functionality and reservation flow efficiencies.  Additionally, the Manager will work closely with other supporting business disciplines and our technology partners to create and implement technology solutions that enhance our central systems to grow revenues and/or reduce costs.

What you'll do

  • Drive technology solutions to support reservation processing across all central systems, integration of, and downstream channels to deliver according to strategy.
  • Provide system expertise for Contact Center, digital and supporting teams such as Group Sales, loyalty, and content to ensure streamlined process across teams in support of operational goals.  
  • Responsible for providing support for 3rd party integrations (such as telephony integration for call routing) and interaction between reservation system technology partner (SynXis Voice Agent)
  • Responsible for raising, tracking defects and management of testing all new production enhancements for SynXis Voice Agent releases.
  • Responsible for loyalty integration with SynXis Voice Agent and driving strategic goals and call efficiencies forward to grow membership and loyalty bookings.
  • Provide expertise and system support in other areas as needed.

You'll be successful if you have

  • Demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships in different functions.
  • Thorough knowledge of reservation contact center operations.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to turn technical concepts into business terms.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively influence leaders and team members.
  • Must be able to show initiative in job performance, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary with or without supervisors’ guidance.
  • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task & prioritize high return opportunities.

Required Qualifications/Experience

  • College degree or equivalent in travel industry, revenue management, or related fields preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in hotel or related industry.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with hospitality central reservation systems (“CRS”).
  • SynXis Voice Agent system knowledge is required.
  • Strong analytical ability; exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
