Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking a Manager, Compensation to join our team at the Parsippany - 22 Sylvan Way location in ParsippanyNew Jersey.

Job Summary

Responsible for providing compensation expertise and analytics.  Will partner with HR, finance, business leaders, and compensation team to provide analyses, recommendations, and guidance regarding compensation program development and implementation.  Supports development, communication, and administration of compensation policies, processes, and programs.  Monitor commission plan effectiveness and model plan change recommendations.  Assure compliance with company policies and government regulations through audits and reporting.  Communicate program results and make recommendations or improvements to the programs based on the results.  Conduct research and analysis in the compensation area. 

Essential Job Functions

  1. Manage compensation function including benchmarking analysis on commission plans.   
  2. Review and recommend incentive design changes.
  3. Collaborate with Compensation team, business leads, and HR Generalists on the annual compensation planning cycle.

Scope/Financial Responsibility

No direct budget management but decisions impact cost for organization.  

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Certified Compensation Professional strongly desired
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage confidential, sensitive information
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Oracle or other HRMS system knowledge, Microsoft Office applications
  • 7+ years Compensation or related experience

Organizational Relationships

  • Will work with team members at all levels of the organization within Wyndham Hotel & Resorts
  • Work with vendors to manage programs and projects
  • External business groups (World at Work)
