Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking a Manager, Customer Data Analytics to join our team at the Parsippany - 22 Sylvan Way location in ParsippanyNew Jersey.

Job Summary

The Manager, Customer Data Analytics will play an important role by measuring, reporting and executing processes and procedures necessary for WHR to meet business objectives. This role requires a high degree of collaboration with our key Revenue Generation team business partners, other internal groups, and 3rd party vendors to ensure proper alignment and execution of processes. The position requires ability to manage day to day activities with the customer data platform, create customer segments for various marketing platforms, and perform predictive analytics and ROI analysis. The position will report on performance, analyze results, identify opportunity areas, and help prepare thoughtful read-outs to leadership.  As part of the Analytics Center of Excellence, this position will work in tandem with 3rd Party Vendors, CRM, IT, Business Intelligence, other Data & Analytics teams to deliver on business analytics and reporting needs. This role will be critical in developing customer data and analytical capabilities that demonstrate trends and performance, in order to empower the RevGen teams to take action. 



  1. Customer data platform management – manage day to day activities, create customer segments, implement new processes for requests and segment management, and fix any issues that arise within the platform.
  2. Vendor relationship management – work with 3rd party vendors, CRM, and internal IT team to ensure current and new data flows and connectivity are set up properly.
  3. Data governance and reporting - Support Director to help develop a customer data and reporting roadmap in order to create, streamline, and enhance new reports and dashboards needed to support the organization.
  4. RevGen business intelligence - liaison with the business to create BI functional requirements document to support future reporting and analytics. This role must be well versed in working with multiple business intelligence tools such as Birst, SAS, Tableau, etc.
  5. Predictive analytics/ ROI analysis – work with key stakeholders in developing key performance indicators, goals, and expectations around promotions and other core business activities to help support business decisions

The Manager, Customer Data Analytics will support the utilization of our centralized customer data within the platform throughout the organization along with managing any change management needed for any current processes.


Scope/Financial Responsibility
Reporting & analytics outputs will be used by RevGen teams to drive business decisions across various initiatives. 

Abilities/Key Compentencies/Skills

•    Ability to manage large data sets
•    Excellent communication skills (spoken and written)

Education & Experience

•    Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Business, Mathematics/Applied Statistics, Economics, Finance, or closely related field; 
•    3+ years of experience in a related field/position
