Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking a Manager, FP&A - Franchise Sales Administration to join our team at the Parsippany - 22 Sylvan Way location in ParsippanyNew Jersey.

Job Summary

The Manager, FP&A - Franchise Sales Administration will be a key member of the corporate finance team, providing critical financial administration, support, and leadership for the various internal Franchise Sales and Development teams.  This role will have ownership of the compensation administration process well as be the subject matter expert in terms of understanding compensation plans in order to accurately calculate and process payouts in a timely manner on a monthly/quarterly/ad-hoc basis.  The Manager will also play a significant role in the forecasting, tracking, and reporting of key performance metrics through various dashboards, trackers, scorecards, and sales contests.  This role with also partner with senior leadership to develop and implement compensation plans for the North American Franchise Sales and Development teams to ensure plans are aligned with corporate objectives.

Moreover, the Manager will also provide day to day financial support for the Franchise Sales and Development teams, ensuring the highest level of financial oversight and budgets are achieved.

Essential Job Functions

  1. Administration of franchise sales & development compensation processes.
  2. Key performance metrics forecasting, reporting and tracking – scorecards, dashboards, trackers, contests, referrals, ad-hoc as needed.
  3. Cost center forecasting/budgeting.

Qualifications & Experience

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Business degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and executing sales compensation plans preferred.
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in Salesforce and Oracle preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to support and prioritize multiple projects concurrently.

Complexity

The Manager, FP&A - Franchise Sales Administration will have high levels of autonomy including overseeing the sales compensation administration process as well as be the subject matter expert in terms of understanding compensation plans to in order to accurately calculate and process payouts in a timely manner.  The Manager will regularly work with cross functional partners (Development, Finance/Accounting, Franchise Administration, Human Resources, and Operations) in order to achieve objectives as well as to investigate and ultimately resolve issues impacting compensation. The position requires a high level of professionalism and excellent customer service with internal customers at all times as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills with audiences at all levels.

Organizational Relationships

The role will report to the Director, FP&A – North America.

This role will have a direct report and must be able to delegate effectively and appropriately.  Additionally, this position will regularly partner with numerous cross functional teams such as Development, Franchise Admin, Human Resources, Accounting/Finance, and Operations in order to be successful.  Furthermore, this role will be required to interface with senior leadership and must be able to articulate point of view and objectives confidently.
