Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking a Manager, Financial Services Systems and Processes to join our team at the Parsippany - 22 Sylvan Way location in ParsippanyNew Jersey.

Job Summary

The Manager of Financial Services Systems and Processes will lead and administer all technical systems and process workflows for the Financial Services department, including Billing, Cash, and Accounts Receivable teams.  The position will be responsible for complete system setups for various Oracle components, including chain and cat code creation, tax setups, bank setups, revenue recognition setups and maintenance, and WynPay maintenance.  The role will also lead Oracle system testing on behalf of the department along with implementing and testing new Oracle features.  In addition, the role will be the Financial Services department business project management lead for all projects impacting the department, including new initiatives such as billing interfaces or new process workflow tools such Salesforce.  The role will have daily interaction with IT and other internal departments requiring enhancements or additions to the current billing processes.  Lastly the individual will collaborate with Financial Services Department team members to identify opportunities for improvement to existing billing processes.

Project management lead for all projects impacting the department, including new initiatives such as billing interfaces or new process workflow tools such Salesforce.  Administrator for Department SharePoint site and future Salesforce implementation.

Lead Oracle system testing on behalf of the department along with implementing and testing new Oracle features. Create and maintain new SQL for ad hoc reporting requests
 
The Manger of Billing Systems and Processes will operate with a high-level of autonomy and empowerment to make technical system decisions within appropriate approval guidelines.  Their decisions and ability to complete testing and implementations in a timely manner have a significant impact on the ability of the team to meet their goals, which in turn impact WHR’s ability to meet its financial targets.

Scope/Competencies

The Billing Team is responsible for invoicing over 8,000 franchisees on a monthly basis. The Billing Team process an average of 100 License Agreement Contracts and 1,500 Miscellaneous Agreement Contracts on a monthly basis. The Billing Team also processes an average of 6,127 line items out of an average of 254 Oracle Mass Uploads on a monthly basis.  The WHG monthly average total billing amount is $73,000,000.  The Manger of Billing Systems and Processes will be responsible for ensuring the department systems are collaborated to allow the team operate at high level or efficiency and productivity.

 

• Motivated, detail oriented person who is able to work independently in a fast paced environment.
• Highly experienced Oracle developer professional with knowledge of WHR setups
• Advanced knowledge of SQL Developer
• Knowledge of Salesforce platform with current administrator certification or aspirations to achieve
• Proficient with More 4 Apps
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Project management skills
• Must be able to work well with others and contribute to a team.

Education & Experience

5+ years Oracle Developer experience.
Advanced knowledge of SQL developer
Advanced Oracle billing, cash, and A/R functions.
SharePoint site administration knowledge a plus
Salesforce experience with tasks, reports, and dashboards
