The Role
The role requires a detailed and process-oriented individual with a finance or audit background and will be critical in ensuring financial compliance for initiatives that will drive Wyndham Rewards as the loyalty program of choice for the hospitality industry. This role will be involved in creating, executing and reviewing SOX Controls with an impact on financial information.
What you'll do
The Manager, Loyalty Operations & Compliance will work with a cross-functional team to support financial needs and reporting on results. The Manager is responsible for the following:
- Manage compliance, issue response and financial stability related to WHR’s global loyalty program, Wyndham Rewards.
- Ownership of key SOX controls to ensure financial integrity and report out on results to Loyalty team and Audit Services.
- Manage key relationships with external billing partners to lead the financial oversight of partner billing, including our redemption platform provider and other earn/burn partners.
- Execute financial processes used to minimize risk and ensure all program revenue and expenses are accurately recognized.
- Ownership of our Internal Point Purchase program to support the use of points as incentives, including the creation and distribution of points for various incentives.
- Oversight of team member assisting with Loyalty Operations activities.
You'll be successful if you have
- Analytical skills, to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, breakdown high-level information into details.
- Ability to identify, document and implement new controls as the program changes and evolves.
- Facilitation skills, to lead requirements and solutions discussion.
- Familiarity with audit and governance.
- Project management skills required.
- Advanced technical Excel experience (pivot tables, Vlookup, VBA/Macros).
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and other stakeholders.
- Exceptional written, interpersonal, and verbal skills.
- Good problem-solving, judgment and decision-making skills.
- Highly organized, detail oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks.
- Strong follow-up skills/ability to work independently & in a team environment.
- Must demonstrate a sense of urgency and have the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data.
- Deep curiosity and commitment to developing enhancements to existing processes and creating new processes.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to effectively oversee team member assisting with Loyalty Operations activities.
Required Qualifications/Experience
- College Degree (BA, BS, Masters or MBA).
- 5-7+ years’ experience in finance, audit, accounting or operations.

Compensation & Benefits
For U.S. based positions only, the expected pay range for this position is $90,000-120,000 annually.
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts carefully considers a wide range of factors when determining compensation such as work location, background, experience, and performance. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
In addition to the base pay, this role is eligible to receive an incentive payment pursuant to the Annual Incentive Plan with a 15% annual target, subject to the terms of the Plan.
