Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking a Manager, Loyalty Product Management to join our team at the Parsippany - 22 Sylvan Way location in ParsippanyNew Jersey.

Job Summary

Wyndham Hotel & Resorts Loyalty Product & Technology team drives the innovation and process excellence behind hospitalities #1 loyalty program – Wyndham Rewards.  The Manager – Loyalty Product Management will be responsible for supporting the Wyndham Rewards platform roadmap, interfacing with cross functional teams to launch new product features and marketing campaigns. S/he will ensure development and execution of product roadmap is in line with product and business strategy.  This hands on leader will collaborate with business and technical teams including Loyalty Marketing, IT, Digital Product, Content, CRM, and Partners.
 
Responsibilities
  • SDLC support for Wyndham Rewards technology roadmap including requirement gathering, documentation, user acceptance testing and post production support activities
  • Business Analysis – Work with program management and business operations leaders to identify process and platform enhancements required to achieve business goals. Document change requests with various technology and process owners. Support enhancement rollout.
  • Managing roadmap and support activities for WYND partnership and other integrated loyalty partnership activities
  • Manages intake and delivery of Reporting, Analytics and CRM data requests
  • General program operations support including investigation of defects and compliance issues; communicating status and resolution to team members

The Manager - Loyalty Product Management will:

  • Actively work to understand and represent loyalty stakeholder needs for decisions related business requirements, project and task priority, platform operation
  • Autonomously make decisions related to priority, process, requirements and operations where the outcome of the decision has less than a $20K impact
  • Contribute to and lead consensus on decisions with financial impacts of up to $35K
  • Participate in decision making with financial impacts up to $250k
  • Need to collaborate with cross functional teams from WR operations,  Loyalty technology/product , IT project management & support, and 3rd party partners
  • Understand and advocate the strategic business and customer priorities of the loyalty marketing team with Wyndham Rewards partners and Platform partners (ICF Next)

  • Significant contribution to the operation and stability of major loyalty program
    • 40MM+ members
    • $100MM+ in revenue for WHG
    • 8,000+ properties worldwide in 26 countries and five languages
  • Dozens of partner relations and integration

Abilities/Key Competencies/Skills

  • Product management and execution in all areas of a software development lifecycle:  requirements analysis, implementation, quality assurance, user acceptance testing, rollout and ongoing support
  • Ability to effectively manage priorities across diverse stakeholders and systems
  • Great communication and leadership abilities – lead and influence teams across department teams to accomplish program projects and goals
  • Strong documentation skills (business processes, root cause analysis, business requirements)
  • Organization and follow up
  • Commitment to process and program excellence
  • Basic data analysis skills (excel skills, understanding of databases)
  • Strong business acumen. Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills towards development of product strategy and solutions to day-to-day issues

Experience/Certificates/Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (or commensurate experience) required.
  • 1-3 years’ experience managing technology + integration projects. Exposure to internet application technologies, hospitality and/or consumer loyalty is a plus.
  • Understanding of Project Management Life Cycle.
  • Understanding of systems development: life cycle, systems integration, data layouts, and file transfer concepts
  • Understanding of and experience using project management tools and techniques.  Confluence and Jira a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multi-department, multi-stakeholder environment where priorities and participation shift.
