Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our team at the Parsippany - 22 Sylvan Way location in ParsippanyNew Jersey.

Job Summary

 

The Marketing & Communications Coordinator works in a dual role: 1) providing the Brand Marketing Vice President and the Global Communications Group Vice President with administrative support and 2) executing the marketing strategy with direct brand support of marketing initiatives.  The Coordinator will support varied brand marketing initiatives including advertising, social media, collateral, budget management, hotel naming, presentations, public relations, and more.

 

Responsibilities

 

Team and Marketing Support

  • Subject matter expert for cross-brand projects including brand portfolio strategy and any multi-brand marketing programs and promotions
  • Support team with any marketing development needs, i.e. collateral, emails, social media, videos, pitch decks
  • Internal client support management including maintenance and creation of innovative tools to present unified and consistent messaging across all departments
  • Collaborate, assist and provide marketing support as needed, including support and creative direction to agency and internal teams as they implement and execute against individual brand marketing strategy
  • Work in partnership with Communications, Digital Commerce, Wyndham Rewards, Strategic Sourcing, Operations, Strategic Planning, Revenue Management and Sales teams to deliver holistic and integrated guest experience

 

Administrative Support

  • Heavy calendar management; gatekeeper including screening and fielding phone calls, addressing and responding independently when appropriate, investigating when necessary to obtain information, referring calls to others as appropriate
  • Schedule and coordinate team meetings
  • Research and secure travel arrangements; prepare Travel and Expense reports
  • Act as a resource to other executive assistants and assist other members of the Senior Leadership Team on an as-needed basis
  • Assist in managing budgets, timelines and project priorities as needed

 

Billing/Budget Tracking

  • Route and secure necessary approvals of invoices, Purchase Orders and Agreements
  • Copy, log, track and submit invoices to A/P; Research payments and respond to inquiries
  • Run P&L reports for month end processes and reconcile against  invoice tracker
  • Manage and reconcile p-card expenses

 

 

Education & Experience

 

Experience/Certificates/Education

 

  • College degree required
  • 2+ years work experience in marketing preferred
  • Advance proficiency in Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of design applications (Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, Prezi, etc.) preferred  
  • Experience with a shared services organization with ability to work across business units strongly recommended
