RVP, Franchise Sales - Select Service - West Coast

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking a RVP, Franchise Sales - Select Service - West Coast to join our team. This is a remote position and the ideal candidate will reside in the Western US.
Job Summary
This position oversees Franshise Sales activity in the Western part of the US for the La Quinta, Hawthorn, Microtel, and AmericInn brands with a focus on new construction and high quality conversions for those brands.
This position will assist in the prospecting and executing of franchise agreements. In addition, it is the job of the Vice President to train, coach and mentor the Franchise Sales Directors in all facets of their job function.
Education & Experience
- A college degree is preferred
- A minimum of four years of achieving quotas in a sales organization required
- Prior management experience a plus
Physical Requirements
Travel as needed with Development Directors (3-4 days/week)
General Requirements
- The Vice President is required to recruit and hire qualified personnel to replace vacated positions.
- The VP will provide guidance on how and when to approach deals that are sourced.
- The Vice President may also have to take a lead position when it comes to closing a deal. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, collaboration with corporate, relationship management with higher profile customers, forecasting executions/openings, and communication of corporate initiatives to their field teams.
- The decision making authority is significant, because the Vice President has deal approval on new construction and conversion opportunities. The impact of the Vice President’s decisions are significant, because those decisions relate to the growth of the organization and the types of deals that the internal structure of the company will be involved in. The supervisory role of the Vice President is one which encompasses his/her development team and the administrative support provided to the team.
