Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking a Regional VP, Franchise Sales & Development - Full Service to join our team at the Parsippany - 22 Sylvan Way location in ParsippanyNew Jersey.

Job Summary

This position oversees franchise sales & development activity in the MidWest/Southeast for the Days Inn, Super 8, Howard Johnson, Wingate, Baymont, and Travelodge brands. This position must prospect and execute new franchise and management agreements.  Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, collaboration with corporate, relationship management, forecasting executions/openings, and communication with potential and existing customers.

 

Responsibilities

1. Prospecting for new franchise and management agreements            
2. Execute (Document Management & Closing) Agreements            
3. Manage Relationships                            
4. Forecasting                                    
5. Day to Day business activities (Plan and Arrange travel, etc.)            

1.    Training/Shadowing to new hire sales personnel
2.    Assisting other members of development team on special projects
3.    Maintaining in-depth knowledge of major purchase/sale transactions, activities of debt and equity, providers and other hospitality related trends within the US and Canada;

Education & Experience

The Regional VP, Franchise Sales & Development has their own quotas.  The activities of the sales team drives room and revenue growth. 

 

Travel Requirements

Travel approx. 80% (4 out of 5 days per week)

Minimum Requirements

a)    A college degree is preferred
b)    A record of achieving quotas in a sales organization required 
c)    A valid Driver’s License
d)    Required to travel approximately 80% of time. Travel will be predominantly focused on lead generation and customer relationship management in the U.S.

c)    The impact of his/her decision on the organization
d)    What, if any, are the supervisory responsibilities? Including titles that report into the position, approximate number of direct and indirect reports.

The Regional VP makes decisions with the help and guidance of their Senior Vice President.  The Vice President provides direction on where and how to prospect markets.  This position is responsible for a team of sales directors that create and maintain relationships, generate leads, and convert opportunities into applications and executed franchise agreements. This position will have 6 sales directors reporting to it.
