SR Manager, Sales Performance & Analytics

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking a SR Manager, Sales Performance & Analytics to join our team at the Parsippany - 22 Sylvan Way location in ParsippanyNew Jersey.

Job Summary

Position is responsible for a variety of tasks to support the WHG Franchise Sales team (i.e. – training, deal tracking, performance management, etc.). These tasks will include day to day tasks as well as additional ad-hoc requests. Position should also have strong skills in Excel and Salesforce. 

 

Responsibilities
Monitor the sales team overall effectiveness throughout the sales process
-    Analyze weekly reporting metrics to monitor sales team performance using Salesforce.com , DevIQ and other tools for executions, applications & leads
-    Assist with tracking of Contest and Bonus achievement
-    System Usage reports
-    Adhoc reporting as needed
Key liaison/point of contact for all training needs within sales organization
-    Demonstrate expertise and lead Salesforce.com (and other tools) training for strategic use and maintenance of data.
-    Develop, maintain, and deliver training touch points for new Directors to build competency and mastery skills.
-    Assess and analyze business needs with recommendations on training plans and programs to enhance knowledge and skills
-    Facilitate local sales training programs and keep updated on new training methods and techniques
-    Develop and maintain training materials related to sales initiatives including presentations, job aids, participant handouts, virtual class materials and other resources
-    Responsible for monthly and quarterly updates on progress/results.
Partner with other departments to identify and analyze areas of opportunities for process improvement in support of strategic business goals
Special Projects focused on sales initiatives as needed
 

Complexities

There is limited level of decision making and a high level of autonomy & confidentiality. Most direction comes from GVP, Development Strategy. This position does not supervise.

Scope/Financial Responsibility

This position is responsible for supporting Franchise Development Directors, Regional Vice Presidents and Senior Vice Presidents (including EVP as needed). This position does not receive a monthly reimbursement of reasonable and necessary travel related expenses.

 

Abilities/Key Competencies/Skills
Position needs to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Position should have good computer skills and a good understanding of SalesForce.com. Position should also have a strong attention to detail

General Requirements

o    High school diploma required / bachelor’s degree preferred
o    Minimum 2 years of progressive sales experience required
o    Salesforce experience
o    Strong work ethic and sense of urgency
o    Ability to get to the root of a problem and utilize resources to provide appropriate solutions
o    Ability to build trust and rapport with others
o    Excellent communication skills with individuals at all levels
o    Strong interpersonal skills
o    Excellent organizational skills
o    Ability to multi-task
o    Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel a must
o    Internet savvy
o    Ability and willingness to travel
