The Role
The Senior Analyst, FP&A – Commercial Operations will be a key member of the corporate finance team and provide support for our Commercial functions including loyalty & partnerships, brand marketing, digital, revenue management, PR and global sales. These functions support the promotion and growth of our global brands through a multi-faceted customer-facing approach and help generate over $500M in revenues annually. This role will be responsible for supporting the forecast & budget process for departmental revenues and expenses while also supporting the Commercial Operations teams to ensure they meet financial targets. This individual will partner with cross-functional teams around the organization to ensure there is diligent expense management and that risks & opportunities are highlighted and planned for accordingly. This role will be a critical role in the month end close and forecast process, as well as annual budget and long term strategic planning processes. This role will report into the Senior Manager, FP&A.
What you'll do
- Develop accurate monthly forecasts & budgets
- Support analysis of impacts in the global marketing funds
- Help develop variance commentary which highlights significant changes and explains any potential impacts to achieving goals & targets
- Provide financial reporting to finance & operational leadership teams which highlights performance, risks & opportunities, and areas of focus for the teams to action on
- Develop relationships with business teams as main point of contact for month end close processes, such as accrual preparation and forecast reconciliations
- Assist with internal processes for approving marketing investments and measuring ROI
- Work with cross functional partners to develop business cases that measure ROI and track performance for cutting edge investments
- Assist with ad hoc reporting and analysis for senior leadership
You'll be successful if you have
- Demonstrated strong financial background
- Ability to work under pressure and at a fast pace while not sacrificing accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines & work collaboratively in the Finance department and with business partners
- Ability to adapt to changing requests, and be able to prioritize work
- Process oriented to drive efficiencies
- Ability to communicate and present results to business partners throughout the organization
- Must be detail oriented and results driven
- Proven ability to report data and develop presentations which can be used both internally as well as for external consumption
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel
- Experience working with large data sets and financial modeling.
Required Qualifications/Experience
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Business Administration or MBA preferred
- CPA, or experience with accounting standards preferred

Compensation & Benefits
For U.S. based positions only, the expected pay range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000 annually.
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts carefully considers a wide range of factors when determining compensation such as work location, background, experience, and performance. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
In addition to the base pay, this role is eligible to receive an incentive payment pursuant to the Annual Incentive Plan with a 10% annual target, subject to the terms of the Plan.
