The Role

The Senior Coordinator, Development Marketing supports the execution of the Development Marketing strategy by managing the tools, content, and operational processes that enable the team to effectively engage prospective franchisees. This role is responsible for maintaining core marketing platforms, coordinating sales enablement assets, managing creative projects, and ensuring marketing content remains organized, current, and accessible. The coordinator owns the Development Marketing content calendar and project tracking, supports website and digital asset management, and serves as a key partner in keeping marketing initiatives on schedule and aligned with business priorities.  Additionally, this is a multi-faceted role which will also support the Global Sales marketing team with B2B customers.  

This role also partners closely with Brand Marketing, Franchise Sales & Development, Franchise Communications, B2B Marketing, Digital Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging, share best practices, coordinate content across channels, and identify opportunities to leverage existing marketing assets and initiatives in support of franchise development goals.

This individual must be highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced matrix organization. The candidate must be able to multi-task, possess a professional demeanor and have the ability to effectively interface with team members at all levels across the company, as well as franchisees and agency partners. The candidate will be a self-starter who demonstrates a high level of accountability and who is able to follow through on tasks to completion with excellence. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to generate creative ideas to support the strategic and tactical planning of business initiatives. Being data driven is required.

What you'll do

Franchise Sales Enablement & Content Management

  • Maintain and update hotel photo decks twice annually.
  • Fulfill ad hoc hotel photo requests from the Franchise Sales team.
  • Manage hotel photo updates across the Development Website.
  • Ensure all photography aligns with Brand Marketing's Best-in-Class standards.
  • Coordinate development of sales enablement materials and marketing assets as needed.

Platform Management

  • Administer and maintain Showpad, Xpress Docs, and Development Website content.
  • Manage website updates including files, news and events, hotel photography, and marketing assets.
  • Ensure sales tools and digital assets remain accurate, organized, and up to date.

Marketing Operations & Project Management

  • Own and maintain the Development Marketing content calendar and key project tracker.
  • Coordinate digital marketing asset handoffs and support invoice processing.
  • Manage seller intake requests to prioritize marketing support across the team.
  • Manage creative projects with internal and external design resources to deliver sales collateral, event materials, and marketing assets.

Digital Marketing & Sponsorship Management

  • Manage the Development Marketing calendar for print advertising, digital marketing placements, and event sponsorships in alignment with the overall Development Marketing strategy.
  • Coordinate the timely handoff of creative assets and marketing materials for digital campaigns, print advertisements, and sponsorship deliverables.
  • Serve as the primary project manager for sponsorship deliverables, ensuring all assets are completed and submitted on schedule.
  • Partner with Development Sales Coordinators to coordinate the processing and tracking of marketing invoices related to advertising, sponsorships, and digital campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing teams and external partners to ensure campaign execution, brand consistency, and on-time delivery of all marketing initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Brand Marketing, Franchise Communications, B2B Marketing, Digital Marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure content alignment and consistent messaging.
  • Share marketing insights, coordinate campaign timing, and identify opportunities to repurpose and amplify content across teams.
  • Support knowledge sharing and communication of key marketing initiatives that drive awareness and engagement with prospective franchisees.

Team & Process Support

  • Improve team organization through effective asset management, workflow coordination, and process improvements.
  • Support cross-functional marketing initiatives and ensure timely execution of key deliverables.
  • Help maintain operational excellence by keeping projects, assets, and communications organized and accessible.

Sales Communication

  • Create campaign specific updates for sellers including sharing any marketing email blitzes or blogs, LinkedIn content related to the campaign and any other sales enablement tools we have for the team. 
  • Share LinkedIn content updates with B2B Sales Enablement team to add to their seller newsletter.
  • Create seller specific LinkedIn content for events, campaigns and overall evergreen content for B2B and Development.

  • Adaptable to new systems, processes, and software.

Required Qualifications/Experience

  • College degree.
  • 2+ years of marketing work experience in a fast-paced matrix organization.
  • Experience with creative agency projects and processes preferred.
  • Experience with email marketing preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • WordPress experience a plus.
  • Canva experience a plus.
  • Experience with a shared services organization with ability to work across business units strongly recommended.

Compensation & Benefits

For U.S. based positions only, the expected pay range for this position is $35.71/hr - $40.66/hr per hour.

 

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts carefully considers a wide range of factors when determining compensation such as work location, background, experience, and performance. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

 

In addition to the base pay, this role is eligible to receive an incentive payment pursuant to the Annual Incentive Plan with a 5% annual target, subject to the terms of the Plan.
