The Role
The Senior Director, Brand Operations – Super 8 will focus on improving the performance and value proposition of the Super 8 brand. This includes analyzing performance data, presenting strategies, collaborating with clients to implement plans, and measuring results. They will handle escalated franchisee requests, interact with franchise customers, represent the brand during discussions, and liaise with support teams to coordinate brand management activities. Coordination is critical for the remote-based team to ensure ease of business. Supporting one of the largest brands, multi-tasking and planning are essential. The role requires availability in the Parsippany, NJ office during normal working hours and 30-40% travel for events and franchisee meetings.
What you'll do
- Contribute to positive Net Room Growth through aggressive retention efforts, relationship building, and key client management, managing administration of renewal deals with the Relicensing Team
- Collaborate with Franchise Sales Team to grow the brand
- Oversee brand operational activities including evolution, execution of the 8-Year Roadmap, standards review and updates, investment programs, secondary PIP, waiver assessments, and planning and activity for retention and relicensing
- Interface with Sourcing and vendors for brand execution and manage all related operational activities
- Collaborate with brand leader and various departments (Business Intelligence, Revenue Management, Marketing, Finance) to analyze reports and drive brand performance through metrics like RevPAR, ADR, OCC index, revenue contribution, and Wyndham Rewards enrollments
- Review marketing plans, participate in business reviews, and represent the brand at Global Conference, in franchisee presentations, and regional meetings
- Work with Senior Director, Franchise Operations/Regional Director, Franchise Operations to plan and execute franchisee resources for brand initiatives, compliance efforts, and training while managing escalated issues to resolution
- Update general manager training, deliver presentations, and oversee brand training initiatives with Wyndham U
- Develop and strengthen relationships with Franchise Advisory Council (FAC) members, including hosting conference calls and meetings with agenda preparation, content development, and logistics

- Expert in independently prioritizing, organizing and managing time effectively
- Demonstrated ability to implement innovative solutions and drive continuous improvement
- Experience in managing and executing large-scale projects within deadlines and budgets
Required Qualifications/Experience
- Must exhibit an Owners-First mentality
- 6 to 8 years of progressive professional experience within a hospitality-related discipline
- 4-year college degree in business administration, management, or a related field
- Proven track record of increasing revenue and achieving sales targets
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving collaboration
- Advanced negotiation skills and ability to manage complex contracts
- Familiarity with industry trends and market dynamics

Compensation & Benefits
For U.S. based positions only, the expected pay range for this position is $130,000-$165,000 annually.
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts carefully considers a wide range of factors when determining compensation such as work location, background, experience, and performance. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
In addition to the base pay, this role is eligible to receive an incentive payment pursuant to the Annual Incentive Plan with a 20% annual target, subject to the terms of the Plan.
