Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking a Senior Engineer, Application Security to join our team at the Parsippany - 22 Sylvan Way location in ParsippanyNew Jersey.

Job Summary

Senior Engineer, Application Security - Wyndham Hotel Group, LLC, Parsippany, New Jersey.  Provide guidance on tools and methods to protect the Wyndham websites against manual and automated attacks, provide support on larger cybersecurity and business-based projects and initiatives; work effectively with business technology, audit, and fraud teams to solve business problems with technical solutions; represent applications security and cybersecurity in meetings and projects discussions; devise methods to automate testing activities and streamline testing processes; provide oral briefings to leadership and technical staff, as necessary; and improve and document operational and troubleshooting procedures.

Salary range: $143,998.40/yr. (based on a 35 hrs./week).  Must have proof of legal authority to work in the U.S. 

Education & Experience

Must have a master’s degree in computer science or related field, plus three (3) years of experience in any occupation which includes the required exp./skills. In lieu of a master’s degree plus three (3) years relevant experience, we will accept a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field plus five (5) years of experience in any occupation which includes the required exp./skills. Must also have three (3) years of experience with Web Application Firewalls and Automated Bot Management solutions; three (3) years of experience with software development/deployment methodologies in web and mobile based environments; three (3) years of experience in securing AWS cloud infrastructure environments, including API’s and serverless applications; three (3) years of experience with application and API security vulnerabilities (including and beyond OWASP Top Ten) and remediation techniques without impacting performance; three (3) years of experience with source code reviews, ethical hacking and penetration testing methods, tools and techniques, including SAST, DAST, IAST, SCA, and IAC solutions; and three (3) years of experience with agile, DevSecOps pipelines, and CI/CD integration.

Physical Requirements

May work from home within commuting distance of office (must be in office minimum of 3 days per week).
