Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking a Senior Manager, Performance Analytics - Loyalty to join our team at the Parsippany - 22 Sylvan Way location in ParsippanyNew Jersey.

Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Performance Analytics – Loyalty is responsible for monitoring the overall performance and health of Wyndham Rewards and overseeing analysis and reporting on the operational elements of the loyalty program. The Senior Manager will support the delivery of data and analytics capabilities to the Loyalty team to provide actionable insights and enhanced decision support for marketing and operation initiatives. The role is responsible for analytics to support the revenue drivers for the loyalty program (is. acquisition, retention, stay frequency) with a focus on member segment-based KPIs, lifecycle analysis, multichannel response to the loyalty program, stay frequency, and churn/inactivity. Additionally, the role is responsible for analytics to support Finance in forecasting enrollments, active member, and revenue per member. Other areas of focus will be on Wyndham Rewards points earning and burning behavior, cost per point, reward options, redemption/breakage rates across member levels and credit card products, and reporting for investor relations. This role will also help provide analytical support for program evolutions as well as performance monitoring upon rollout of new program structures. The position will partner with a cross-functional group of stakeholders (including brand, marketing, revenue management, and finance, among others) to report on performance, analyze results, identify opportunity areas, support Wyndham Rewards strategies, and provide thoughtful read-outs to leadership. As part of the Analytics Center of Excellence (CoE), this position will work in tandem with Business Intelligence and other Data & Analytics teams to deliver on business reporting needs. This role will have one direct report (Analyst).


Responsibilities

  1. Data Analytics / Business Intelligence: Analyze performance results, derive data-based advanced insights, and identify internal and external trends for integration into business insights; communicate result/insights to leadership through thoughtful reports and presentations.
  2. Data Reporting and Development: Develop and deploy self-service performance reporting for Wyndham Rewards team; liaison with Data and Reporting services on behalf of team by managing  functional business requirement gathering; ensure reporting is clear, timely, accurate and accessible. 
  3. Strategic Initiatives: Partner with the broader organization (i.e., sales, revenue management, marketing, operations, finance) to provide data-rich insights in support of strategic initiatives 
  4. Management of outsourced vendor: Manage 3rd party for all data / analytical requests required to support business initiatives and strategy

Complexity

The Senior Manager, Performance Analytics – Loyalty will help drive the development and expansion of loyalty reporting and analytics that are vital to the success of Wyndham Rewards.  The role requires regular and open contact with senior leaderships across various business partners at all levels of the organization.  The Senior Manager will manage the relationship with our 3rd party analytics team and have a deep understanding of all facets of loyalty data.

Education/Experience

•    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics/Applied Statistics, Economics, Finance, Analytics, Business Intelligence, Strategy or closely related field; 
•    5+ years of experience in a related field/position; 
•    1+ year of loyalty experience desired
•    1+ year of experience managing a direct report desired

 

Reporting Structure
This role will report directly to the Senior Director, Performance Analytics – Loyalty, Revenue Optimization, and Global Sales

This role will have one direct report, Analyst, Performance Analytics - Loyalty
