The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Specialist, Business Development Support & Marketing Planner to join our Financial Partnerships team. This role is critical in accelerating new partnerships by developing and writing high-impact proposals, pitch materials, and partnership collateral that drive new revenue opportunities.
In this highly collaborative position, you will contribute to partnership concepts and thought-starters, coordinate cross-functional inputs, create marketing plans, and support the implementation of new partnerships. The ideal candidate combines strong storytelling, design sensibility, and business acumen to bring partnership ideas to life in a compelling and polished way.

What you'll do

  • Develop and write persuasive proposals, pitch decks, and partnership collateral tailored to financial partnership opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and align messaging.
  • Support the creation of marketing plans and materials for new and existing partnerships.
  • Contribute to ideation and development of partnership concepts and strategic thought-starters.
  • Develop and write persuasive proposals, pitch decks, and partnership collateral that clearly articulate value propositions and differentiate Wyndham’s offerings in the marketplace.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including business development, marketing, finance, and creative—to gather inputs, align messaging, and ensure all materials reflect brand standards and visual engagement.
  • Support the creation and execution of marketing plans and co-marketing strategies for new and existing financial partnerships, spanning channels such as email, web, and mobile app.
  • Contribute to the ideation and development of innovative partnership concepts, strategic thought-starters, and go-to-market strategies that drive new revenue opportunities.
  • Research prospective partners, business models, and emerging trends, identifying whitespace opportunities to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and internal communications, including meeting recaps, partnership summaries, and status updates, to ensure seamless execution of partnership launches.

You'll be successful if you have

  • Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, with familiarity in Adobe Creative Suite or other design tools considered an asset.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities, with a keen eye for detail and the capacity to translate complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives and visuals.
  • Ability to synthesize and simplify intricate ideas for visually engaging and impactful presentations.
  • Deep curiosity, excellent listening skills, and a collaborative approach to problem solving and execution.
  • Proven project management and organizational skills, adept at managing multiple priorities and working within dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Effective rapport building and engagement with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Enthusiasm for teamwork, a willingness to support colleagues, and an appetite to explore and innovate new approaches.
  • Passion for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, its brands, and its mission, with a data-driven mindset for decision making.

Required Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in proposal development, business development, partnerships, or sales enablement.
  • 3–5 years of direct experience in proposal development, business development, partnerships, or sales enablement, preferably within the financial services or agency/client environment.
  • Proven experience working on advanced or large-scale partnerships.

Compensation & Benefits

For U.S. based positions only, the expected pay range for this position is $86,500-100,000 annually.

 

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts carefully considers a wide range of factors when determining compensation such as work location, background, experience, and performance. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

 

In addition to the base pay, this role is eligible to receive an incentive payment pursuant to the Annual Incentive Plan with a 10% annual target, subject to the terms of the Plan.
