The Role
The position is a senior level role on the HR leadership team. The VP of Global HRMS and Payroll Services is responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, implementation, and management of the company's Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS) and payroll operations. This role leads our team that ensures that HR systems and payroll processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with the company's global strategy and goals.
What you'll do
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute the strategic vision for HRMS and Payroll Services in alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with the Global HR senior leadership team and other senior leaders across the organization to define and operationalize technology solutions that enhance overall HR operations and the employee experience.
HRMS Management:
- Oversee the global administration and optimization of the HRMS, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of the organization.
- Lead HR system enhancements, upgrades, and integrations to improve functionality and user experience.
Payroll Oversight:
- Manage the payroll processing function, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Establish and maintain payroll policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
- Partners with the Global HR senior leadership team to support and align effective technological advances to drive payroll planning and processing efficiencies across all regions.
Team Leadership:
- Lead a highly engaged, high-performing team of HRMS and payroll professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements, globally.
- Prepare and present regular HR data analytics on key strategic HRMS and payroll metrics to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations for celebrating successes as well as areas of focus to drive improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as a global liaison between HR, finance, strategy and IT departments to ensure seamless integration of HRMS and payroll services.
- Engage with employees to address concerns and gather feedback on HR technologies and payroll processes.
Change Management:
- Manage and lead change management initiatives related to HRMS and payroll services, helping teams adapt to new systems, processes, and ways of working.
- Deploy predictive analytics to anticipate future needs and challenges to inform effective HRMS and payroll services strategies supporting achievement of the organization’s strategic plan.

- Demonstrated problem-solving skills that address and resolve issues related to system performance, data integrity, and process inefficiencies.
- Service orientation to key internal clients ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively.
- May require occasional travel and the ability to work outside of standard business hours to meet project deadlines or address urgent issues.
Required Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in HR technology and payroll management, with a minimum of 5 years in a key HR leadership role.
- Demonstrated expertise in HRMS software and payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Kronos, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors).
- Experience managing large-scale projects, such as system upgrades or global payroll rollouts, ensuring timely completion within budget.
- Strong knowledge of HRMS and payroll software systems, including system implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
