The Role
The Senior Director, Brand Operations – Days Inn will oversee brand operations and ensure alignment with Days Inn standards and policies. This role involves negotiating key points for franchisee agreements and serves as the brand liaison in various discussions. The position also entails developing and executing brand strategies, managing franchisee communications, and coordinating marketing initiatives to enhance brand storytelling and advocacy. Additionally, the role includes organizing and managing meetings, maintaining accurate reporting, and collaborating with finance to ensure budget allocation. It requires strong leadership and the ability to travel as needed to strengthen client relationships. The role requires 30-40% travel for events and franchisee meetings.
What you'll do
- Negotiate key points and incentive structures for renewals, amendments, conversions, and transfers. Serve as brand liaison in franchisee discussions and provide guidance on waivers and property initiatives.
- Develop and execute brand operation strategies, ensuring alignment with brand standards and internal governance policies. Approve, deny, or guide waiver requests.
- Draft and execute franchisee communications, integrating key messaging from Wyndham Weekly Roundup and Days Inn-specific initiatives.
- Present Days Inn marketing to the board, act as the brand liaison for marketing initiatives, and ensure Board elections comply with bylaws.
- Coordinate Days Inn National Marketing Alliance program and ensure seamless operations across marketing, accounting, and billing.
- Collaborate with the paid media team for planning and execution, and participate in reporting and strategy sessions with media teams and leadership.
- Manage the development and reporting of the Dawn Tracker program, including maintaining data accuracy and providing progress updates.
- Oversee the production and distribution of franchisee testimonial content to enhance brand storytelling and advocacy.
- Prepare presentations for business development, franchisee communication, and leadership visibility, traveling as needed to strengthen client relationships.
- Coordinate and produce Franchise Advisory Council (FAC) meetings and up to 18 regional Days Inn meetings annually, including agenda setting, logistics, content creation, and attendance promotion.
- Manage meeting and F&B budgets for all Days Inn meetings, collaborating with finance to ensure appropriate budget allocation.
- Oversee and maintain the Days Inn LinkedIn page, ensuring content supports brand storytelling and advocacy.

Required Qualifications/Experience
- Must exhibit an Owners-First mentality.
- 6 to 8 years of progressive professional experience within a hospitality-related discipline.
- 4-year college degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
- Proven track record of increasing revenue and achieving sales targets.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving collaboration.
- Advanced negotiation skills and ability to manage complex contracts.
- Familiarity with industry trends and market dynamics.

Compensation & Benefits
For U.S. based positions only, the expected pay range for this position is $130,000-$165,000 annually.
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts carefully considers a wide range of factors when determining compensation such as work location, background, experience, and performance. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
In addition to the base pay, this role is eligible to receive an incentive payment pursuant to the Annual Incentive Plan with a 20% annual target, subject to the terms of the Plan.
