The Role
The Rapid Response Sales Support Coordinator will provide crucial assistance to Wyndham’s sales team and customers, helping enable revenue growth while gaining exposure across all aspects of the end-to-end sales process. Primary responsibilities include supporting sellers by handling activities across the sales process as well as across multiple opportunities. Sales Coordinators support existing customers by addressing inbound requests by processing bookings. The ideal candidate is highly motivated by team success, and collaborates effectively with customers, hotels, vendors and internal teams to help drive new sales for Wyndham.
What you'll do
Specialists core job functions will include:
Receiving inbound requests from sellers and clients via email/phone
Sending email via Salesforce and Outlook to sellers, clients and hotels
Processing of urgent incoming opportunities and completing bookings within strict service levels (1-4 hours)
Sourcing hotel locations for Extended Stay or Project requests
Completing modifications to or cancelling of bookings
Using multiple reservation systems (CR/PMS) to move check out dates or make other modifications
Engaging with hotels to push reservations through on sold out properties
Ensuring IATA and Corporate IDs are attached to all reservations required
Creating and running reports for investigating bookings to ensure accuracy of all data
Collaborating with Wyndham Commissions team for account consolidation
Complete folio retrieval for all bookings in all systems
Develop streamline process for folio retrieval when unable to pull folios
Completing additional administrative functions as required by GSO Team or Account
Coordinator will become subject matter experts in their segments
Coordinator will be required to assist with other accounts or in alternate segments when needed
Flexible scheduling and working evenings and weekends will be required – potential for rotating schedule or on call work based on needs of business
Coordinator will also be expected to resolve within reason basic customer services related issues surfaced by key accounts

Ability to work through company provided training and self-paced training
Ability to multi-task
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Computer proficiency
Knowledge of travel industry is a plus
Required Qualifications/Experience
Education: High School Diploma
Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Tools.
Knowledge of Salesforce, Sabre, Synxis, and Opera is an asset
Web Browser Usage (ex. Microsoft Edge, Chrome),
One year of sales experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
