Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking a Technician, Service Desk and Event to join our team at Saint John in Saint JohnNew Brunswick.

Job Summary

An exciting career opportunity is available in our dynamic team-spirited environment.  We are currently seeking two (2) highly motivated Service Desk and Event Technicians.  


Under the direction of the Service Desk Supervisor, the Service Desk and Event Technician’s primary function is to be the first point of contact for customers around general inquiries, service requests events and incidents. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, troubleshooting, and escalating end user service requests and incident overflow that come in through telephone, e-mail, walk-in and chat, along with responding to events from various monitoring tools. The service desk provides 24/7 support and shift flexibility is essential.

Education & Experience

Your background includes:

  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science or related fields or equivalent on the job experience.
  • Proficiency with the usage and configuration of Windows 7, Windows 10, Microsoft Office Suite, Office 365, IOS and Android devices, Active Directory, Bomgar, communications software and other PC software applications.
General Requirements

An asset in your background includes:

  • Experience as a Service Desk Technician supporting PC-based operating systems, local area networks and software applications.
  • Experience with two-factor authentication on e-mail and applications.
  • ITIL certification
