As a successful candidate your starting rate of pay will be $20.00 per hour.

We have a full-time opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Technician in our Service Desk and Event Department. We welcome you to a role that offers the opportunity to work with an established team who are committed to your success and delivery of our Count on Me service promise. Currently due to the Pandemic our teams are working from home with company provided computer equipment.

 

Our Service Desk and Event Technicians are responsible for providing friendly and professional Count on Me service to our customers. You will use your proven analytic and strong problem solving skills as the first point of contact for customers to resolve their general inquiries, service requests and incidents.  In this role you will receive, prioritize, document, troubleshoot, and escalate end user service requests and incident overflow that come in by telephone, e-mail, walk-in, and chat. The Service Desk & Event Technician is also responsible for responding to events from our monitoring tools, including logging event tickets and paging out to teams as required. The service desk provides 24/7 support and shift flexibility is essential. 

 

Our ideal candidate will have a demonstrated one (1) years’ experience working as a Service Desk Technician supporting PC based operating systems, local area networks and software applications, two-factor authentication on e-mail and applications and ITIL certification. A post-secondary education in Computer Science or related fields or equivalent on the job experience and proficiency with the usage and configuration of Windows 7, Windows 10, Microsoft Office Suite, Office 365, IOS and Android devices, Active Directory, Bomgar, communications software and other PC software applications. You have exceptional customer service skills, demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills with a focus on rapport-building, listening and problem-solving, highly self-motivated and self-directed and prioritize and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
