Wyndham is now seeking a Supervisor de Recepción to join our team at Wyndham Tamarindo in Tamarindo, Guanacaste.

Propósito

Liderar, supervisar y controlar todas las funciones realizadas por el departamento de recepción, validar que todos los procedimientos se cumplan de acuerdo con los estándares de la empresa.

Principales funciones y responsabilidades

  • Supervisar y coordinar las funciones del equipo de Recepción, asegurando el cumplimiento de procedimientos, estándares y checklist diarios

  • Revisar reportes de recepción, facturación electrónica y su conciliación con el sistema, en coordinación con Contabilidad y Cuentas por Cobrar

  • Gestionar la asignación de habitaciones para socios Wyndham Rewards (categorías Gold y Diamond)

  • Administrar la comunicación interna y externa, dando seguimiento a correos de Reservas y Grupos

  • Controlar el manejo de dinero y valores: caja chica, cajas de recepción, arqueos y apertura de cajas fuertes cuando sea necesario

  • Atender y resolver situaciones con huéspedes, garantizando una adecuada experiencia de servicio

  • Organizar turnos, horarios, descansos y cobertura operativa del personal de recepción, incluyendo la gestión de ausencias

  • Brindar soporte operativo y administrativo a los departamentos de Reservas, Housekeeping y demás áreas, asegurando la fluidez de la operación

  • Velar por el cumplimiento de normas institucionales relacionadas con presentación personal, uso de uniforme, gafetes y desempeño del equipo

  • Elaborar y enviar reportes operativos, administrativos y financieros (facturación, proveedores, horas extras, reportes Wyndham y Medallia) según la periodicidad establecida

  • Manejar y resguardar información confidencial vinculada a políticas, procedimientos y estándares de la empresa

  • Ejecutar cualquier otra función inherente al puesto que le sea asignada

Educación y experiencia

  • Formación deseable como Bachiller Universitario en Turismo, Hotelería o carreras afines, y contar con 1 o 2 años de experiencia en posiciones similares

  • Manejo de Paquete Office (Word, Excel y PowerPoint)

  • Capacidad de análisis, planificación, aprendizaje y resolución de problemas

  • Buen manejo de la comunicación oral y escrita, atención al detalle y orientación a resultados

  • Adaptabilidad al cambio, organización del tiempo, trabajo bajo presión y ética profesional

  • Habilidades interpersonales: trabajo en equipo, liderazgo, negociación, manejo de conflictos, orientación al cliente y coaching

  • Aptitudes psicomotoras y tecnológicas para el uso de herramientas informáticas

  • Dominio de un segundo idioma (80–90 % oral y escrito)
